Mu Xiangwan was startled and pulled away from his embrace, seeing the playful smirk at the corner of his mouth, she was infuriated and pounded her fist into him without holding back!
"Su Chaoyang, you're terrible! Terrible! I thought you were really going to be crippled! I was already thinking about how I should comfort you! Who jokes about something like this?!"
His muscles were so firm that her pounding fists fell on him. Mu Xiangwan didn't know if it hurt him, but her hand sure couldn't take it.
Seeing the tiny tears clinging to her long eyelashes, her pitiful yet fierce defiance, Su Chaoyang's eyes filled with gentle laughter. Without any sign of annoyance, he caught her fist and rubbed her hand gently, "Alright, alright, aren't you hurting yourself by punching me?"
"It does hurt!" She pulled her hand back, spitting out words at him in irritation, wiping her tears away and glaring at him, "Don't you dare joke like this again! Who would curse themselves like that?"
