Mu Xiangwan woke up after a nap and an hour had passed, but Su Chaoyang still hadn't returned. She couldn't help but call him, "What's taking you so long, when will you be here? How is my grandmother? You could at least keep me updated."

Hearing the girl's whining, he softly and gently cooed, "I'll be back in about an hour. My grandmother said she hadn't seen me in a long time and asked me to spend some more time with her."
Fearing that the girl would figure out that her grandmother was critically ill and in the hospital, Su Chaoyang had to resort to lying.
Upon hearing this, Mu Xiangwan did not press him further, "Is that so? Alright, make sure you spend some quality time with Grandma. Tell her I'll come to see her in a few days."
"Yes, I understand. Stay in bed and don't be stubborn!"
"Alright! You're so nagging!"
