Mu Xiangwan had been in the hospital room for half a day, repeatedly opening her mouth as if to speak, but the words hung in her throat, unuttered.
Back in Myanmar, because they were facing a crisis and didn't even know if they would survive, it was much easier to express herself. But now that they were home safe and sound, her proud character was resurfacing.
However, there were still some changes.
For instance, whenever Su Chaoyang moved, she would immediately approach him, "What are you trying to do?"
"Drink some water."
"I'll pour it for you!" She turned around to pour some hot water, handed it to him, and reminded, "Be careful, it's hot."
Caught off guard by her sudden affection, Su Chaoyang accepted the cup and eyed her suspiciously.
And then again, when he moved to get out of bed, she instantly stood up, "What are you doing now?"
"Er... going to the restroom."
