During the meal, the family was enjoying dinner, entirely engrossed in the flavors, when Little Monkey suddenly blurted out a question.
"Grandma, what does 'do' mean? Daddy told Mommy that they were going to 'do' something tonight."
"Pfft!" Chi Zaozao burst out laughing, spraying rice all over the floor.
Ye Que held it in, not spitting out his food, his eyes flaming as if about to throw fire, glaring fiercely at Little Monkey.
Little Monkey pretended not to see, his eyes, inherited from Chi Zaozao's large ones, whirled rapidly, inquisitively and innocently asking Xue Rong Zhen.
Xue Rong Zhen was completely puzzled; how could she know what the child meant by 'do'?
Her puzzled gaze turned from the rice-spraying Chi Zaozao to Ye Que. "What is the child talking about?"
Ye Que answered with utmost seriousness, "Nothing, just a child talking nonsense. Please continue with your meal, Mom!"
