Xue Rong Zhen couldn't believe her own son had a hidden illness, yet after hearing Chi Zaozao's account, she couldn't help but doubt.
Mother and daughter stared at each other, wide-eyed, then suddenly, an idea struck them both at once.
"Why don't we test him?" Xue Rong Zhen suggested.
Chi Zaozao nodded vigorously like she was pounding garlic, "How should we test him?"
Xue Rong Zhen leaned in to whisper something to Chi Zaozao, who then chuckled, slapping Xue Rong Zhen's hand, "Oh My, Mommy, is this really going to work?"
"It'll be fine. You have to believe that your husband absolutely can't have such an illness; otherwise, what will you do about your marital bliss in the future?"
Chi Zaozao was morose, "But if we give him some kind of drug, it won't prove anything, right?"
