Zhao Sisi regained consciousness and was quickly returned to the hotel by Ye Que. Thankfully, she had only drunk a few sips of water and was not seriously harmed.
Chi Zaozao crouched by the door of the room, watching as Ye Que carefully covered Zhao Sisi with a blanket, his movements gentle and graceful, quite enchanting.
Who would have thought that this cold guy could also take care of people?
From the doorway, Chi Zaozao watched his silhouette, lost in thought.
She didn't even realize when Ye Que came over to her.
"Go out!" he finally said.
Only then did Chi Zaozao come back to her senses, saw him leave the room, and scurried after him. "Is Sister Sisi okay? Really no need to take her to the hospital?"
"She's fine!" Ye Que said indifferently, sitting down on the sofa with one leg crossed over the other, eying Chi Zaozao in front of him.
Pouting, Chi Zaozao asked with suspicion on her face, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
He beckoned, gesturing for her to come over.
