Seeing him sitting at the desk dealing with some documents, she didn't care much and went straight up to ask, "Ye Que, when did you get a girlfriend?"
The man in front of the desk acted as if he hadn't heard, his pen continuing to sign his name on the documents.
Chi Zaozao, seeing that he was ignoring her, became even angrier. She walked over, snatched the pen from his hand, and burst out accusingly, "I'm talking to you! You're not mute, so why won't you talk to me?"
This outburst, perhaps, pissed off Ye Que.
He turned his head, his eyes as cold and sharp as a hawk's, piercing deeply into Chi Zaozao.
"Who allowed you to scream and shout in front of me?"
He was indifferent, like an emperor high above, looking at her as if she were a lowly peasant, as if looking at her for a moment longer would sully his eyes.
Chi Zaozao was afraid of the angry Ye Que, but she was anxious; she just wanted to know if he really had a girlfriend!
