Miss Tang, Wanyuan, received an urgent call for help from Chi Zaozao and arrived at the Ye Family's place in less than twenty minutes.
Upon seeing Ye Que's parents, Tang Wanyuan greeted them with a smile, nodding to each in turn.
"Uncle, Auntie, hello!"
The Ye Couple also greeted her with warm smiles, "Is Wanyuan here to see Zaozao?"
Tang Wanyuan smiled, her gaze fixed directly on Ye Que who was seated beside his elders, then she suddenly shook her head, "No, I am here to see Brother Ye Que."

The elders exchanged glances and chuckled, "Then go find him. He's not in a very good mood today, so be careful not to anger him."
At twenty years old, Tang Wanyuan was two years older than Chi Zaozao, a sophomore in college. As soon as the Ye Couple finished speaking, she walked over and took her place beside Ye Que, following proper etiquette.
Ye Que was watching the stock market on his laptop, entirely unconcerned with the happenings around him.
He didn't even seem to notice when Tang Wanyuan sat next to him.
His entire demeanor exuded an air of nobility.
It wasn't until Tang Wanyuan spoke up that he took notice, "Brother Que, my Big Brother asked me to tell you that he wants to meet you at the usual place at eight tonight. He has something important to discuss with you."
Tang Wanyuan's Big Brother, Tang Shichu, was Ye Que's business partner, a classmate from Havard, and a brother in arms.
Their relationship was so strong that even their parents couldn't intervene.
So, hearing Tang Wanyuan say this, Ye Que closed his laptop and looked at her, "Understood!"
He picked up his laptop and went upstairs, possibly to change clothes.
To the three people sitting in the living room, it seemed he was likely changing clothes.
But instead, he twisted the brass lock of Chi Zaozao's room and stood at the door, looking at the girl inside.
Chi Zaozao jumped out of bed when she saw the door open, and upon seeing it was Ye Que, she quickly put on a mournful face and begged softly.
"Brother Ye Que, I was wrong."
"Copy all of your recent language model tests. I will check after nine tonight. If you haven't finished, Zaozao, it won't be as simple as being grounded."
"Ah?"
Chi Zaozao picked up the clock next to her; it was seven o'clock now. With only two hours left, how could she possibly finish?
She desperately wanted to argue, but the man didn't even give her a chance to speak and turned to slam the door as he left.
Chi Zaozao glared hatefully at the door, her teeth itching with rage.
This damnable Ye Que, that cursed Ye Xiao'er, what right did he have to treat her this way!
If there ever came a day when she turned the tables, she would definitely pin him down and trample him mercilessly.
It infuriated her!
Even though she was angry, she obediently took out her textbook to review and, as he instructed, began to copy the model tests.
A few minutes later, Miss Tang rushed upstairs, burst into Chi Zaozao's room, and shouted, "Zaozao, Brother Ye Que is gone. Hurry downstairs for dinner. Auntie made you seaweed pork rib soup; it's said to be good for bust enhancement."
Chi Zaozao ignored her completely and continued with her work.
Miss Tang was puzzled and approached, "Zaozao, didn't you ask me to come rescue you? Now that you've been rescued, why are you still here doing homework?"
"Wanyuan, thank you, but I have my college entrance exams soon and need to prioritize my studies, so I can't keep you company. Please make yourself at home!"
She continued to copy without lifting her head.
Miss Tang leaned against the wall, filing her nails as she spoke, "In families like ours, there's no need for you to go to college and find a good job to make money. Why do you have to take it so seriously? Besides, you've always had poor grades. Is it even useful to cram at the last minute?"
Useful or not, she still had to do as Ye Que said.
He didn't like her much at all now, and if she were to indulge in fun and neglect her studies, wouldn't that just widen the distance between them?
