The Huai City police department sent a boat over and everyone crossed to the small island. An old, decrepit boat was moored at the riverbank, its hull still intact but no longer in use. Several police officers were investigating the boat, hoping to find any traces of the victim or the killer.
It was said that during high tide, more than half of the small island would be submerged. Because of its remote location, it was rarely visited. If it hadn't been for a local fisherman taking a shortcut home from here this morning, who knows when the body would have been found.
As for the so-called island, it was nothing more than a few hundred square feet of hillock covered in weeds and scattered rocks. In the middle of the island, there was a small depression and in it, lay a black box.
The box was 20 inches in size, and although it was old and dirty, there was a person crammed inside of it.
