Xu Shu caught the look Liang Sichen gave Jiang Su before he left.
He couldn't quite put a finger on the feeling; it wasn't exactly friendly but there was no distinct animosity, nor was it as dramatic as hostility. However, it did make one feel quite uncomfortable.
Upon exiting the school gate, Xu Shu seized the opportunity when Bai Jian was occupied with a conversation with Lin Wei, and quietly approached Jiang Su, asking in a lowered voice, "Bro Su, what's with the guy just now?"
Jiang Su tilted his head, "Which one?"
"The one who just greeted your desk partner," Xu Shu responded.
Jiang Su gave an indifferent response: "Not familiar."
"I sense some inexplicable hostility from him towards you," Xu Shu seemed to have suddenly realized something and stopped in his tracks, "Could he be interested in your desk partner?"
At this, even Jiang Su slowed his steps.
