…
Eight years later.
On the morning of Lin Wei's birthday, Jiang Su had an interview.
At the end of May in Beijing, the sun was bright, the sky was a brilliant blue, and leaves flourished on the branches lining the streets, instilling a strong sense of summer.
Over the years, Jiang Su had always been in the spotlight, and many journalists attempted to arrange interviews with him by all means, but were invariably turned down. He agreed to this interview because it carried a touch of public welfare advocacy.
The journalist who interviewed him was a man, young, but he spoke with the maturity of someone who had spent many years in the industry.
The interview was simple. It took place in Jiang Su's office where his secretary acted as the cameraman. The reporter and Jiang Su casually sat side by side on the sofa, made a pot of tea, and chatted as if they were friends rather than conducting an interview.
The conversation lasted a full two hours.
