It wasn't a full on lemon between Valentina and Tucker but if you want the details I'll upload it as a seperate mini chapter.
.....
[Location: Gloutvile - Valentina Tower]
Outside Valentinas Tower their was a bigger crowd then usual.
The reason being was news of Verosika becoming Valentinas new protege was announced a few days ago, and today was going to be her first official day on the Job.
A pink tinted limousine soon pulled up with, a hellhound body gaurd opening the door for her. She steeped out with a smirk and posed for all the photographers.
She made sure they got her good side...who was she kidding, every side of her was good.
Soon the crowd started screaming out to her."Verosika, sign my butt! It's already tattooed with your face!"
"I sold my soul for front-row tickets to your concert!"
"Verosika, spit on me! It'll be the highlight of my miserable life!"
"Marry me, Verosika! My wife won't mind, I swear!"
"I've named my cat after you! He bites everyone, just like you do!"
"Can I drink your bathwater? I'll pay top hell-dollar for it!"
"Verosika, step on me! I'm begging you!"
"I quit my job just to follow you around!"
"Verosika, can I be your personal footstool? I'll work for free!"
Just another normal day in hell.
---
Verosika strutted into Valentina's tower, her heels clicking rhythmically against the marble floor.
She sipped from a can of Beelzejuice, the honey-flavored alcohol giving her just the right buzz to start the day.
Tom, an incubus demon and Valentina's right-hand man, greeted her with a nervous smile.
"Welcome, Miss Verosika," Tom said, bowing slightly. "I'll be giving you a tour of the tower."
Verosika looked around, her eyes scanning the opulent surroundings. "Not bad," she commented, taking another sip. "Let's get this over with."
As Tom led her through the tower, he pointed out various rooms and facilities. "Here we have the rehearsal studio, equipped with the latest sound systems and instruments. This way is the new built in spa, for all your relaxation needs."
Verosika barely listened, her mind wandering. She caught sight of another woman being shown around by one of the staff members.
The woman had a sweet, girl-next-door vibe that immediately rubbed Verosika the wrong way.
"Who's that?" Verosika asked, nodding towards the woman.
"That's Lusia, another protégé of Miss Valentina," Tom explained. "She's new here as well."
Lusia turned and met Verosika's gaze, giving her a warm smile. "Hi! You must be Verosika. I've heard a lot about you."
Verosika forced a smile, feeling an inexplicable sense of threat. "Yeah, nice to meet you," she said, though her tone was anything but friendly.
Lusia seemed unfazed. "This place is amazing, isn't it? I can't wait to start working with everyone."
Verosika's eyes narrowed. "Yeah, amazing," she replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
As they continued their tour, Verosika couldn't shake the feeling of unease. It wasn't that she felt threatened for her life, but there was something about Lusia that made her skin crawl.
What she didn't notice was a fox-like mark pulsing faintly on her chest, invisible to everyone else including herself.
Tom led them to the lounge area where a few demons were lounging, one of them sipping from a coffee cup with the words "I Eat Ass!" written on it. Verosika smirked. "Whoever made that mug needs a raise."
Lusia giggled. "I think it's charming."
Verosika smirked. "Yeah, like a cat puking rainbows."
They walked through the kitchen next, where a chef demon was preparing lunch. "Here, we have a top-notch kitchen. Feel free to request anything."
Verosika eyed the food and leaned closer to Tom. "You think they can cook me up some angel wings? Extra crispy."
Tom blushed. "I'm sure they can accommodate most requests."
Verosika smirked and took another sip of her Beelzejuice. "Good to know."
Just then, a loud crash echoed from down the hall, followed by someone shouting, "My foot's on fire!"
Tom sighed and led them to the source of the commotion. They found a demon stomping on a small fire on the ground, only to realize it was a burning bag of poop.
"Ha! Classic—" Verosika laughed. "Who's the genius behind this?"
Tom looked embarrassed. "We have some... questionable staff."
Lusia raised an eyebrow. "Remind me not to leave my room unlocked."
As they continued the tour, they reached the medical wing. Just as Tom began to explain, the door burst open and two demons rushed out with a stretcher, a third demon following, holding his hand. "I swear I thought I could jump that high!"
Tom sighed. "The medical wing is well-equipped for all emergencies."
Verosika chuckled. "Good to know. Do they cover being sick of love?" Verosika asked thinking of a certain limp dick asshole who was still in the hospital from her beating him half to death.
.....
As they moved on, Tom led them to the courtyard. A gardener demon was planting flowers under an absurdly bright light. It was so bright, Verosika had to shield her eyes.
"Fuck! What the hell? Are they trying to grow flowers or summon Michael?"
Tom chuckled nervously. "We call it the 'Grow Light 3000.' It's supposed to enhance growth."
"Or give you cancer in five seconds," Verosika muttered.
Finally, they reached the main hall. Verosika turned to Tom. "Where's Tucker? I thought he'd be here."
Tom's expression turned somber. "Tucker has been relieved of his duties. His contract ended, and he's at the train station with Miss Valentina."
This news piqued Lusia's interest. "Who's Tucker?" she asked.
"A former bodyguard of Miss Valentina," Tom explained. "He was with her for a while."
Verosika's eyes widened in surprise. "He's leaving? Just like that?" She couldn't believe he never told her, she even packed her most sexy lingerie...
Tom nodded. "Yes, his time here has come to an end."
...
At the train station, Tucker and Valentina stood on the platform, the train's whistle echoing in the background.
They faced each other, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air. Valentina stepped closer, placing a gentle kiss on Tucker's forehead and resting her head against his.
"I hope one day you can tell me your story," she whispered, her voice soft.
Tucker remained quiet, but he leaned closer, their foreheads touching in a silent promise.
As the train's final boarding call rang out, he stepped back, giving her a small wave. "Goodbye, Valentina. Take care of yourself, and goodluck with your two new projects."
Valentina watched as the train pulled away, carrying Tucker towards Pentagram City.
She stood there for a moment, lost in thought. However just then, as she watched the train dissappear, an owl swooped in and landed on her shoulder.
It held a red envelope with a pentagram seal, she looked at the letter and thought.'So the next summit is almost here.'
...
Back at the tower, the tour continued. Verosika and Lusia found themselves in the lounge area.
Verosika took another long sip of her Beelzejuice, eyeing Lusia with barely concealed disdain.
"So, what brings you here?" Verosika asked, her tone sharp.
Lusia smiled, seemingly oblivious to Verosika's hostility. "I've always loved singing and performing. When I heard Miss Valentina was looking for new talent, I just had to apply. It's a dream come true to be here."
Verosika scoffed. "Well, don't think it's all sunshine and rainbows. This buisness can chew you up, choke you out and spit you out if you're not careful."
Lusia nodded, her smile never leaving her face. "I appreciate the warning. I'll make sure to stay on my toes."
Verosika rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Just don't get in my way."
Lusia's expression softened. "I don't intend to. I hope we can get along and maybe even become friends."
Verosika almost choked on her drink. "Friends? Yeah, sure. Let's see how long that lasts."
As the tour wrapped up, the two women parted ways, each lost in their own thoughts.
Verosika couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over her since meeting Lusia. There was something about her that felt off, and it wasn't just her sickeningly sweet demeanor.
Lusia, on the other hand, seemed genuinely excited about the opportunities ahead. She hummed a tune to herself as she walked down the corridor.
...
In the privacy of her room, Verosika downed the rest of her Beelzejuice and hummed as she bite her bottom lip.
"Now! What should I wear, as a going away gift. Enie..minnie..mienne...you~" She said looking at a navy blue three peice set, with thigh high socks and garterbelts.
...
Meanwhile, Tucker's train sped towards Pentagram City, the landscape blurring past the windows.
He leaned back in his seat, reflecting on his time at Valentina's tower and the events that transpired in the last few months.
"Next stop, Pentagram City," the conductor's voice announced over the intercom.
Tucker closed his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Here we go," he muttered to himself, ready for whatever came next.
