"You then divide the result with 5142 and get the answer..." Maths professor, Mr Frank kept mumbling and scribbling on the board, solving the sums that were most likely to come in examination… according to him.
But everyone knows that was just a trick to attract attention of some fools who think they can pass the exams by simply mugging these questions up.
However in reality, Mr Frank will be having a lot fun grading these fools after the paper and failing them all. How did I know that? Because I used to be the fool once.
(Jk I never failed any exam. (Ps- I still was a fool tho))
'Answer is D.' Axle yawned and kept his pen down, looking around the classroom.
All of his friends were focused on the board while Rex and group were chilling on the last benches, sneakily eating snacks and drinking lemon water.
Class was quite quiet due to Mr Frank being known as a scary guy, and also because most of the classmates were tired and suffering from light hangover, Axle being one of them.
'Boring, as expected. Sigh…' Axle massaged his forehead and kept solving the sums given by Mr Frank. Since he has nothing to do, might as well study a bit.
He also kept his eyes on Sarah and Maria, his two targets for the current mission. But well, none of them gave a shit about Axle. Maria was busy peeking at Rex while Sarah studied diligently.
'I think Sarah would be easier.' Axle stroked his chin and spinned his pen between his fingers, 'She was recently rejected by Larry so her self esteem is low. She is depressed and vulnerable.' Axle smirked, 'I should give her a shoulder to cry on, right?'
*Ding Dong*
"Okay that's all for today. Do the remaining questions for your homework. It will be checked in the next class. Dismissed." Mr Frank closed his book shut and calmly left the class, letting the students sigh in relief.
"Which period is next?" a nearby student asked randomly.
"Your mom's." Luke's voice suddenly snickered as their group passed by Axle's seat, heading for the washroom.
"Sorry to disappoint, it's gone already." The student glared at Leon.
"Oho~ Then is it safe day yet? Tell her to be ready for me~" Luke smirked.
"I told you to cut off the mom jokes, Brother." Linny shoved Leon on the head and pulled him out of the classroom along with Rex.
"Motherf***ers!" The student cursed under his breath and flipped them a finger, of course none of them saw it because they had left already.
"Anyway, it's free period next. Chemistry teacher isn't coming." The class monitor, William announced while closing his book shut.
'Just great. What am I supposed to do for the useless 45 minutes I need to waste?' Axle grumbled and fished out his mobile phone from his pockets, finding a text.
[ Maria – Hehehe that jewellery you gave me was actually worth 5340 Styr. My friend works at a jewellery store so he knows. ]
Axle turned and saw that Maria was also looking at him with a light smirk on her thin lips. Her hair were currently braided into a long geeky ponytail while she wore round, nerdy glasses on her face.
Currently she looked average at best, but Axle knew that after fixing her style a bit, she can even compete with some campus belles of his school.
[ Axle – Good for you, my part is actually worth only 4800 Styr... ]
Axle replied to her and Maria glanced at the text before showing a cheeky smile to Axle, mumbling "Sucks to be you."
'Hah, dumbass.' Axle chuckled slightly after seeing her reaction to his text, 'I earned over 65k Styr while you are bragging about 5k.'
[ Maria – But Rex seems to be in a very bad mood today, we should lay low for some days and not sell these jewellery. ]
[ Axle – Sure. ]
Axle gave a nod to her and got up as well, wanting to grab a bite but then realised something and sent another text to Maria.
[ Axle – Since you made over 500 Styr more than me without doing anything, shouldn't you at least treat me to some lunch? ]
Seeing this text, Maria was surprised and she glanced at Axle, contemplating whether to agree or not. But after thinking for half a minute, she nodded and walked to him.
"I can do at least that much." Maria giggled sweetly, still in good mood because of yesterday.
She came from a middle class family such as Axle's, so 5300 Styr was a large amount for her. And such an amount falling into her laps for free? How could she not be on cloud nine.
Axle gave a polite smile and walked alongside her, he randomly asked her how she realised that Rex was in bad mood, and then she started to spill everything about Rex.
'Wow she really is a yandere stalker mentality huh-' Axle chuckled wryly in his mind as Maria gave all the information about Rex.
The girls he has been with, his regular partying times and etcetera.
"You sure know a lot about him, huh?" Axle pointed casually while picking a lunch set for himself in the cafeteria.
"Of course. I have been in love with him for 3 years." Maria nodded excitedly.
"Girl you came in this school just 2 years ago..." Axle mumbled but luckily Maria didn't hear him. Or else he was afraid to hear the answer that she actually switched schools for him.
Axle and Maria took an empty seat in the cafeteria while Maria kept chatting, sometimes asking a bit about Axle too. But Axle's lame answers left her uninterested.
"Baby dumdum got a nerdy girlfriend now~?" a very familiar voice suddenly called Axle from behind while waving at him.
"Hey guys..." Axle sighed deeply, staring at the small group of students that suddenly dropped by his table.
Rex, Luke, Linny, William and Alice.
William and Alice were the male and female class monitors respectively, and they were also the part of Rex's group for obvious reasons.
Having good relations with class monitors was very helpful since they can help in many things such as putting up a proxy for attendance, arranging question papers and many more.
"How you doin', baby dumdum." Luke placed his arm around Axle's shoulders and sat next to him, smirking.
