It was May 1st and yesterday Yuna had just been accepted into U.A. High School in the Department of General Education. She wasn't going to start until tomorrow though. She had ordered her uniforms which were supposed to come in the mail later today. Izuku was already at school and Yuna couldn't wait until he got back. He said he would take her out to go celebrate her getting into U.A. High after he got home from school. But until then, Yuna had to wait. She was super excited for their celebratory outing. But until then, she had to distract herself with things to do to pass the time. So she did chores around the house for her mother.

It was now 4:00 PM and Yuna finished changing out of her leisurely clothes and into a light blue sundress. Just then, she heard her phone vibrate and she went to go check it. Izuku had just texted her saying he just got back home from school and was changing into more suitable clothes for their outing together. A few minutes later, Yuna heard the doorbell ring. She grabbed her purse and ran to go answer the door. Izuku was standing there in a green long sleeve shirt and black jeans.
"You look really nice." Izuku smiled, complimenting Yuna who blushed.
"You do too." Yuna said shyly as Manami got up from the living room couch to see Yuna off.
"Have fun on your date." Manami said teasingly with a smirk. Yuna turned around to face her younger sister.
"I-it's not a date!" Yuna stuttered, getting all flustered. Izuku blushed as well at the thought of their outing being a date. To be honest, he technically thought of this as a date. After all, he did have feelings for Yuna. But he kept his opinion to himself since he didn't want to come off as being too forward.
"Shall we get going?" Izuku asked as Yuna nodded her head. Manami shut the door after Yuna as she left with Izuku. They headed to the train station together and took the train to their destination. After they got off the train, they walked to the restaurant in an awkward silence for a while. The words Manami said before they left had been replaying in Yuna's head.
"So... do you think this is a date?" Yuna asked Izuku who remained silent for a moment before answering her question.
"If you're not comfortable with considering it a date, we can just call it a hang out between friends." Izuku said, scratching the back of his head as he chuckled. For some reason, the word "friends" stung a little.
"Hey Izuku, do you like me? As in more than just a friend?" Yuna asked Izuku who immediately turned red. He sighed as he figured she was going to ask that.
"Well since you asked, I guess I shouldn't hide it from you. The truth is yes, I do like you in that way. I have since we were little. Though I didn't know it was love at the time. But when you disappeared, it felt like a part of me vanished with along with you. Even after years had passed, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Then one time Mom told me I was lovesick, that's when I realized it." Izuku confessed as Yuna felt an overwhelming sense of happiness. But she also felt a huge sense of guilt. She had fallen for him but she was also in love with Natsu and Asta too.
"What about you? How do you feel about me?" Izuku asked as Yuna's heart felt like it stopped for a brief moment.
"I... I love you too Izuku." Yuna said. She was telling the truth, but she couldn't bring herself to tell him that she was also in love with two other guys as well. Izuku sighed with what seemed like relief.
"Thank goodness. I was worried you didn't feel the same." Izuku said as he smiled at Yuna, gently grabbing her hand and lacing his fingers with hers. She just smiled back, not saying anything. They walked hand-in-hand to the restaurant. When they arrived, they were seated immediately. They ordered their food shortly after. Izuku ordered katsudon and Yuna ordered traditional ramen. As they waited for their food, they had normal friendly conversations. Yuna asked Izuku what going to U.A. was like. He explained to her in more detail about his school life until their food came. Then Izuku asked Yuna more about her best friends from the other two worlds she lived in. She talked about Natsu and Asta as they ate. He listened intently as she told stories about her time with Natsu and Asta. He couldn't help but notice she was rather enthusiastic when she talked about them, sometimes she even blushed when mentioning their names.

Yuna and Izuku had already left the restaurant and were heading back home from the train station.
"Thanks for taking me out to celebrate me getting into U.A. High." Yuna thanked Izuku.
"You're welcome Yuna." Izuku said with a smile as he grabbed Yuna's hand again.
"You know, I'd like to go out on more dates like this in the future." Izuku admitted. This made her feel really happy, but also incredibly guilty. Eventually, the guilt became too much for her. Right as they were approaching their apartment building, Yuna stopped in her tracks.
"Something wrong Yuna?" Izuku asked her as she sighed.
"I haven't been completely honest with you Izuku." Yuna said as he gave her a worried look.
"What do you mean?" Izuku asked as Yuna went on to tell him the truth.
"While it's true that I really do love you, I'm also in love with Natsu and Asta. And I have a strong hunch that they may feel the same way about me too. I can't choose just one of you over the other. I should have told you right away. I'm sorry Izuku. If you're repulsed by me now, I perfectly understand why." Yuna confessed as she started to tear up. She expected him to back away, disgusted with her. But instead, he did something that surprised her. She felt a pair of warm arms embrace her tenderly.
"Yuna... I'm not repulsed by you being in love with three different guys. I'm just glad you feel the same way about me as I do about you." Izuku said which further surprised her.
"Technically neither Natsu nor Asta have confessed to me yet, so it's not like I know for sure that they like me back in that way. But I just have a gut feeling that they do. We are both really close." Yuna said as Izuku took her hands in his.
"Well if it turns out they don't reciprocate your feelings, just know I'm always here for you no matter what. I'll always love you." Izuku said as he lovingly pressed his forehead against Yuna's.
"Thank you Izuku." Yuna said as they continued on their way back to their apartment building hand-in-hand. When they arrived at their doorsteps, they looked at each other.
"Thanks again for everything: for going shopping with me, for helping me study for my written U.A. Entrance Exam, and for taking me out today." Yuna thanked Izuku for all he had done for her.
"You're very welcome Yuna. Anything for you." Izuku said as he smiled. And with that, they said goodbye to each other and went their separate ways into their apartments.
