The next day;
Dmitrii caught up with Amelia as she walked towards the elevator leading to her office. He gave her a playful jab and winked at her.
Amelia gave him a polite morning smile and stopped walking. "What are you doing here this early?"
"You turned down my dinner last night for the second time. I thought I should visit you in your office for breakfast," He said.
"Oh," Amelia facepalmed herself. "I know my apology is beginning to sound annoying but I'm so sorry I forgot. I had kinds of stuff to do,"
"Is that so?" Dmitrii raised a questioning brow at her, "You can let me know if you don't want to hang out with me. I mean I'm cool with it,"
Amelia's lips thinned. She felt bad. "I don't want to hang out with you as a close friend. A business partner is all good with me and since you accepted that stance, I want to but haven't gotten the chance to," she drew in a deep breath and stared into his deep dark eyes.
