The next day, Lu Feng Xi woke up to the sound of her ringing cell phone.
"Hello," Feng Xi answered the call in a sleepy tone.
"You lass! You're still sleeping?!" Hua Jing's loud voice jolted Lu Feng Xi awake. She immediately looked at the wall clock and saw that it was already 10 in the morning.
"Oh my God! It's late!" Lu Feng Xi exclaimed as she threw off her comforter. She glared at Shen Yu Han, who was sitting on the couch not far from her, sipping his tea and working on his laptop.
Hua Jing rolled her eyes on the other side of the call. "Don't tell me you indulged in some dirty activities with your newly wedded husband last night!"
"You can shut up!" Lu Feng Xi's ears turned pink at Hua Jing's words. She quickly changed the subject. "Jing Jing, I am sorry, I left you alone at the retirement party yesterday."
"Don't talk to me about that!" Hua Jing remarked. She felt a headache remembering the scene from the last day.
