"Aunt Yao, I will be back before dinner," Feng Xi pronounced and dashed out of the Shen Mansion before Aunt Yao could ask any questions. She could sense the curious gaze she had been giving her.
Feng Xi felt relieved once she was out of the house and called her friend whom she was supposed to meet today.
"Jing Jing… where are we meeting today?" Feng Xi asked.
"Did you not check the high school friends group?" Hua Jing asked as she rolled her eyes.
"Well… I have been pretty busy these days so I forgot to do that," Feng Xi replied and asked if there was something special in the group.
"Of course there is!" Hua Jing exclaimed in excitement. "You forgot? Our homeroom teacher is retiring today and almost every student she taught would be present."
"Oh my God! How can I forget such a thing?" Feng Xi said as her face lit up. It had been a long time since she met her old classmates and her homeroom teacher. "Then… let's meet there."
