Chapter 30 - The Forgotten Race (2)

I took a taxi to where the shock had occurred. It was an area close to the southernmost point of the barrier. I got out of the car, but there were only ordinary people who couldn't even feel what happened around me.

'Oh, it's cold!'

I magically wrapped warmth around the thin padding I was wearing. The weather had become cooler than I thought. It seemed winter had begun its arrival while I was curled up inside the house.

"Now, where are you guys?"

I mumbled and made fun of my busy steps. While I was outside, I must identify it today. So, if it were a dangerous creature, I would have to get rid of it, as Parvache said. I didn't know how intelligent it was. Still, it was an individual or group presumed to have the ability to hide. It occurred to me that if it tried to hurt people, I would kill it mercilessly. However, I didn't think it was causing any trouble because there hadn't been any such news yet.
