Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

2 days later...

Kara and Cate were walking along the sidewalk deep in conversation about the movie they had just watched.

She had joined Kara at school in order to experience the curriculum system for a day to know what she will be up against when her time to enroll in one university comes.

She'll have to convince her mother.

"Everyone was so dressed up at your school. You could have given me a warning." Cate was still unhappy about that part of her day.

"What's wrong with what you're wearing?" She chuckled at her friend, her eyes scanning the outfit.

Since all Cate had were clothes from Diana prince's closet, she wore a simple t-shirt and jeans with sneaker and a pair of glasses. Diana Prince's closet was similar to Clarks in that it contained clothes that dulled their appearance because if they were to go all out like their counterparts in the league, they'd be discovered sooner rather than later.

Cate crossed her arms and glared at Kara.

"No one noticed. Thats just your paranoia talking." Kara reassured her friend then continued "Besides, they were busy admiring your pretty face among other things..." A statement that got her a playful punch from cate who was now chuckling recalling the reactions.

"Ouch!" Kara soothed her arm. "Okay. I deserve that." She grinned at the thought of how she attracted the whole football team to their table at lunch earning glares from every cheerleader in the cafeteria.

She was friends with some of them but they never ate lunch with her due to the obvious stereotype of the cool kids and the geeks. Kara always projected herself as a geek in school. They ended up ditching her last class to go to the cinema away from all the attention.

"It's not funny!" Cate complained. "If mother ever found out what happened at your school my hopes of ever attending one will be shattered!" Her mother and sisters don't trust men.

"Sorry! Your mother sounds like my cousin and grandpa. They want to know everything I am doing." Sometimes her cousin forgets that she's technically older than him.

"What if we don't tell them everything?" Cate had an amusing expression on her face.

"What do you mean?" Kara ever curious, turned.

"I need clothes. I won't spend the next weeks sharing with my sister. Can we go shopping?" She may need Kara's advise more than Diana's in that task.

Kara smiled with a gleam in her eyes and crushed her in a hug forgetting her strength for a moment.

"Oh...Sorry" Kara stepped back and scanned looking for injuries.

"I'm fine." Cate shrugged off her concern.

"I keep forgetting you're more durable than almost everyone I know." Kara was relieved. Had it been Lois, her cousin would never forgive her for hugging his girlfriend to death after her excitement got the better of her at that moment.

"Of course. Just say the day and we will get you a whole new wardrobe. I wouldn't mind picking myself a couple of clothes actually." She only ever went with Martha in small Ville when she spent the holidays with them.

"What about now?" Cate replied with uncertainty. "If you've got time that is" she added after noticing Kara stare off over her shoulder into the distance, deep in thought about something.

"What..?" She asked focusing on cate again.

"Yes, we can go right now. But we're going to need money so I'll buy for you some outfits then you'll talk to Diana for the next shoping trip." She explained not knowing if they used money back in their home.

"That's alright. We can use this." Cate started searching for something in her pockets.

"Diana said I can use it for emergencies during my stay here." She held up the card.

Cate watched her friends eyes widen in surprise, her facial expression turning to that of awe and was no doubt scanning it using her enhanced vision. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing. It's just that I have never seen one of those before." She pointed to the card.

"What? You don't have a credit card?" According to her research this was how most of the people payed for things including university students.

"I have one but yours is special. Rumour has it that not everyone can get it." She reached out and took it from her then examined it. It was a couple of inches thicker than the normal credit card. "You have to be invited to receive one of those."

Cate shrugged thinking it was what royalty used so not many people were farmiliar with it. "Okay. We can use it. This qualifies as an emergency."

"Definitely a code red situation." Kara agreed handing her the card and turning to look into the distance again. "Let's make one tiny pit stop. I have to retrieve something." She led the away.

Minutes later...

"I was a guest at that fundraiser! I checked in with Lois Lane." She stressed the name hoping it would get their attention.

"We will have to confirm with the guest list. I will inform you when it's ready, please take a seat." The receptionist instructed them pointing to the waiting lounge.

Kara knew the moment she turned away she would not get what she wanted.

A smug smile played at her lips, "I'm actually surprised you can't recall the one who made the largest pledge at the fundraiser."

This got the receptionists attention. She scanned her form. Rumours spreading round the hotel was that a rather young couple managed to out pledge all the powerful people attending.

No it couldn't be her, she's still in school she thought glancing at the other lady beside her. The odd pair managed to make themselves the centre of attention, everyone glancing at them, boty staff and guests.

"Like I said. We have to confirm with the guest list so as to follow up on your claim otherwise you need to provide a warrant from a judge." She insisted. These ladies were definately the type to escort such powerful people to their top charities and events. They probably wanted to get some incriminating footages so they could extort the guests.

"I was! View the video! I was in the video!" Kara gestured to the cctv at the top right corner. She had hacked into their system while they sat in their lobby pretending to wait for someone but didn't find the video she was looking for.

Further investigation lead to the discovery that the cctv footage clips of that sensitive meeting was stored seperate from their main server so she had to ask for it if she wanted it. That's how she found herself trying to convince her way to the video.

"Kara"

She turned to look at Cate, thinking of a different strategy which involves getting Lois involved. She had to have it now that she saw the hotel and recalled with a clear mind. Their has to be a video footage of it.

"Can we get something to eat from their restaurant?" Cate asked her eyeing one man drinking coffee heading out of the revolving doors. They hadn't eaten for a while and this would be as good a place as any to eat.

"Sure. Can we place orders from here? We'll take it to go." Kara asked as hunger invading her senses. She could use something to eat after talking for this long.

"I'm sorry you cannot. The restaurant is down the hall to your right." The lady waved her hand dismissively in a certain direction at the same time Cate stepped forward handing her card over intending to pay.

Kara turned to the direction but watched the second receptionist stare past her in surprise and turned back to watch the other lady standing up taking the card in her hand and looking up at them. They worked in a seven star hotel so they knew all about it.

She had an idea.

"Yes, you can order from the front desk" the lady was still in disbelief staring at them. Her gaze moved to Kara a thought suddenly flashing in her mind. If her friend has this card then she may well be who she says she is.

"We'll get it someplace else. She doesn't want to help us." Kara gestured to cate to take her card back. She looked to Kara confused.

"Everything should be ready in a few minutes once you place your order." The receptionist spoke up immediately tightening her hold on the card. If her boss finds out she denied service to a black card holder, her career would be over.

It wasn't her fault these two did not dress the part.

Kara smiled. "Thank you."

They both made their order and waited in the lounge area with a cup of tea delivered to them. Kara was impressed with the hospitality the card brought forth even though they just ordered simple meals.

Arkhum asylum

Lex Luthor stood in front of a glass panel staring at the figure crouched, trembling and crying in the corner.

Getting inside the asylum undetected resulted in him parting ways with a generous amount of money. He had to see him. The video got distorted so much that nothing was visible. His technicians claiming system failure in the surveillance cameras.

Ares had not returned to his office and he didn't know what happened to the rest. All he saw was Ares disappear from the room and the bright green flash usually accompanied by the shape shifters powers.

He knew Scare crow had been checked into Arkhum asylum where he was gradually slipping into madness. That made all the inmates worried.

"He's been like this ever since he arrived. He was referred to Arkhum by Star city rehabilitation institution." The prison guard informed him.

Scare crows incarceration in this state took everyone by surprise most of the prisoners and guards wondering what could have scared someone that reveled and fed off of fear.

"The doctor says his mind is broken." The guard continued.

Proving his point, scare crow screamed and moved away from a cockroach scurrying towards his bed.

"What happened to him?" Gotham had lived in fear of his fear gases for so long he couldn't comprehend what was happening.

Lex Luthor turned and walked out of the room.

He knew the shapeshifter had something to do with this. He swore under his breath that at one point he saw Ares and scarecrow with a frightened look while facing him.

Did Ares suffer the same fate as scare crow? What could he have turned to? He thought.

For now he will have someone look at whether or not scare crow can recover enough to explain what transpiredin that lair. All the mercenaries succumbed to heart failures and the status of team arrow was still unknown.

Scare crow was the only lead he could pursue for now. He walked out and headed to the waiting helicopter ready to take him back to metropolis.

Watchtower

Team arrow was restrained in the watchtower and every member had their own room. J'onn and Wanda moving to each room helping them to seal away their recently revealed fear or conquer it. Oliver Queen and John Diggle had recovered and were resting.

"We tried saving them. Wanda could only manage to focus on them and herself otherwise risk being overwhelmed." Ben spoke up thinking of the mercenaries.

Superman, batman, Cap, Clint, Bruce, Hal and flash stood observing the telepaths in action.

"How did they locate their base?" Batman asked aloud. "Oliver uses the same protocols I use for the batcave." No one should be able to penetrate through their security.

Well...excluding Ben of course.

"We will have to wait for them to recover. They scrubbed all their computers before the lair was invaded." Superman answered. The team converged after the cyborg contacted them.

"A villain that taps into the primordial fears of his victims." Banner mused. This earth was turning out to be very interesting.

"He operated in Gotham." Batman stated.

"Do you think they were working together with the other guy?" Cap asked. They came to make sure Wanda was fine from the mission.

"Yes. Scare crow was taking orders from him. Toe pick could sense how powerful he was, Wanda too." Ben explained thinking of the encounter.

"The ogre you turned into?" Clint asked the only term Wanda could use to describe the alien.

"Yes."

"No one has ever been able to identify what specie it belongs to or his homeworld. One peek at his original face is all you need to loose your mind."

"I can only imagine the other guy if scare crow ended up with a shattered brain." Flash knew all about scare crow. He was a meta human Doctor who worked at StarLabs but vanished when the particle accelerator exploded. "You have to be a whole other level of scary if you can bring out the scare in scare crow."

"The other was an alien." Ben revealed. Everyone looked at him.

"The watch scanned him?" Banner asked interest peaking. How many aliens exist on this earth?

Ben nodded. "Only a handful of beings could ever resist toe picks face." Trixx was still processing the sample they acquired. "Almost all of them were cosmic"

"Great, just what we needed. Another overpowered alien we know nothing about" Batman murmured. He trusted Ben's judgement in reference to what his aliens could do.

"Very powerful" Ben agreed. "He managed to look away long enough to run" he was actually impressed and couldn't wait to find out what the alien was capable of. It would take quite a lot of power and will to look away from toe picks face.

"Did you cross reference him with the leagues database?" Superman asked concerned that they don't know didn't know about this alien who granted such powers to Scare crow. "Did Trixx record the encounter?"

"I didn't get a match and trixx can only interface with me in certain types of aliens." Ben informed him. It was one of the things he did when he changed back to his normal self.

"What if you change to that alien?" Hal suggested having processed everything said so far. "If it's anything like supermans and Thors case, we get a DNA structure from it to compare with whatever we have."

"He's right" Batman agreed. That could save them the hustle of searching for the alien.

"The sample isn't ready yet." Ben revealed.

"How long does it take for a sample to be ready?" Flash asked thinking of how many fixtures they could have for their betting site.

"I don't have an exact duration but this particular one has taken sometime." According to Trixx it was only half way through. "Just the way Thors sample took hours to process."

Their attention was drawn by screams coming from Felicity. J'onn was tending to her.

"I have issued an alert to all heroes to have their trackers and communication earpieces on at all times." Batman informed them walking out.

"They are being targeted to get to us" Superman added following batman.

"This sucks! First Nightwing then team arrow" the flash lamented. Oliver was the first hero he made contact with when he dawned his red suit. He knew everyone on his team and it pained him to see them like this, screaming their lungs out.

"They will get what's coming when we find them!" Hal vowed his ring briefly glowing.

"So, have you turned into an almeraci yet?" Hal changed the subject leading Ben and flash in the direction of the cafeteria.

"I still have a hard time believing this watch exists." Flash got hold of Ben's wrist examining the omnitrix.

"Gaping at it won't make it any less true." Hal chuckled amused. If his ring couldn't successfully scan it what made flash think his eyes could. "I believe you being a detective won't help either"

"So you agree it's more powerful than your ring?" Flash looked up an eyebrow raised questioningly.

"Maybe" Hal conceded. "That thing can turn you into any alien and seeing it in action is a whole experience."

"I know." Ben could never get enough of people's reaction when the find out about his watch. It took years for him and his world to get used to it. No doubt it will be the same with this earth. "It takes time to get used to it and the almeraci sample is ready. I havent gotten an opportunity to use it." He added.

"That Toe pick alien you used sounds scary" Flash stated, a chill running down his spine recalling the state scare crow was in arkhum.

"He is. I promised to use it in times of emergency. You can't erase his face from your brain once you see it." Ben explained then an amusing smile formed on his face. "When you'll see ghost freak you will understand."

"Is he another Toe pick?" Hal asked still surprised by this kid.

"Nope, he's a ghost."

"Does it induce insanity like TP? You have some nasty aliens!" Flash exclaimed at his ever increasing number of alien reveals.

"He's just scary but you can look at him to some level, you won't go mad unless I want you to."

"I pity the villains in your universe, one look at you will scare them straight!" Flash joked taking a seat at their table.

"Actually I don't use them so often back at home. There are others that can get the work done as efficiently as them." Ben supplied.

Both of them glanced at the watch, just recalling that it had over one million specie DNA samples.

"Excuse me" they turned to see Kara and Cate with what looked like bags of clothing in each of their hands.

"Your excused ladies, what can I help you with?" Hal took the lead earning an eye roll from flash but Ben just looked at them. She looks so much like her sister he thought looking at the lady he recently added to his most beautiful women list.

"Want to join us?" Flash smiled at them gesturing to the remaining chairs.

"We'd love to but we're just from eating. I was hoping to talk to you." Kara replied pointing at Ben appreciating Flash's gesture but they were here to talk then head to the fortress for a few hours.

"Join us...there's nothing like having too much food."

Ben focused when he saw Kara pointing at him. What did I do now? Was his thought.

"I don't mind" Cate chimed in suddenly hungry. She was so used to having supper inform of a feast that she has to eat frequently here in mans world.

Kara reluctantly agreed and they joined. Wally zooming off to order their food. Every other hero in the vicinity were whispering looking at the group in curiosity. Word was still spreading around about Diana's sister. No doubt shocked just as they were at first.

"We haven't officially met, Green lantern" He waved his hand to who he presumed to be Diana's sister.

What is it with princesses and perfection when it came to their beauty he thought of Maxima.

"Cate" her smile being a greeting.

"Hey Cate, Kara" flash returned with their food.

"You already met?" Hal questioned his friend. He never mentioned it to him.

"Yeah, the other day. She's Diana's younger sister" flash replied knowing what Hal was thinking. He had a small crush on Diana when the league began and he made the mistake of confiding in Hal.

"Why did you delete the cctv footage from the hotel!?" Kara tuned them out and turned to Ben whose eyes wasn't staring at anything in particular but had an intense gaze in them.

Probably talking to that AI of his she thought snapping her finger.

"What are you talking about? Which footage?" Ben asked at the same time Trixx was fixing a display of the said video over a portion of what was initially being displayed.

"You know what I am talking about. The fundraiser!" she reminded him. "There's a section of the video missing in every recording."

Ben recovered long enough to answer, "How do you know!?"

"I know you have something to do with it." Kara accused. "You had Trixx retrieve and erase it or something!"

"What!? I don't know what you're talking about" Ben insisted.

"Ben!" Kara huffed exasperated from how difficult this whole thing turned out.

At the hotel, the receptionist had escorted them to the surveillance room where Kara found out the whole part of Ben pledging was missing. Frustrated, they went shopping then kara convinced Cate to escort her up the watchtower.

"Alright...I deleted it" he revealed.

"Liar!" Kara shrunk in her seat after her little outburst drew unwanted attention.

"What did he do now?" Cates voice made them to turn to see her, Flash and Hal looking at them.

"You told her?" Ben asked incredulous. Kara's face was flushed. Cate had been there when she wanted someone to vent on back at the hotel.

"Girls tell each other everything!" Hal smirked at Ben. That's a lesson all boys learned the hard way.

"That's not relevant." She dismissed the others with a waving gesture. "I know you have it!"

Who was he kidding, who in their right mind would delete it.

"What would happen if I say I may know where it is located?" Ben cautiously asked. The last time he treaded these waters he received a slap from her.

"I want it." Her face flushed when she saw the look on his face. "Lois wants the whole footage to do a story on it." She clarified quickly.

"You will have to give me your phone number." Ben grinned at her. He had once been as shy as her but that changed when he started doing off world missions and being the face of the plumbers throughout their universe.

Kara smirked and spoke. "Ask Trixx"

"Very funny." Ben replied. Kara's phone lit up with an incoming message.

"Why do you want it anyway?" subconsciously rubbing the spot she had slapped.

"Thank you." She replied and started eating.

"You are welcome Supergirl" came Trixxs voice from the watch's audio system.

"Please, call me Kara" She replied looking at the watch.

"Noted Kara." Trixxs voice sounded again.

"Aren't you going to answer me?" Ben asked confused. For someone with super hearing she sure was a poor listener.

"What? I already thanked you. What more do you want?" Kara asked irritated they were still talking about that.

According to extensive research I have dug up, Kara is exhibiting signs that suggest she does not wish to answer that question.

Ben paused reading what Trixx displayed then continued eating thinking about the different scenarios exhibited by his cousin and his ex girlfriend in the past.

"What's up with those two?" Hal whispered to Cate and Flash who had also been occasionally glancing at them.

"I have no idea. But I heard she slapped him" flash revealed and both Kara and Bens heads snapped up.

"It was a minor misunderstanding" Kara spoke up quickly. "Yeah...what she said" Ben acknowledged. Not interested in the least bit to add any more rumours and speculations to the bunch.

"What was it about?" Cate asked curiously.

"What?" Kara questioned confused.

"The misunderstanding. What was it about?" she clarified.

Ben was about to talk but Hals ring beat him to it.

"Hal Jordan. Incoming transmission from OA" its computerized voice was heard. Everyone stared at him.

"Receive." Hal spoke back, the ring glowed and projected a hologram of a guardian.

"Killowog sent a distress signal and went dark afterwards. We need you to report back to OA and go investigate." The guardian spoke. Time was of the essence.

Hal knew the lanterns were scanning their sectors for anomalies so this was an emergency suggesting killowog discovered something.

"What if i go with him?" Ben suggested to them.

The guardian had been so focused on Hal he didn't notice the others. He turned.

"That would be efficient." The guardian acknowledged. "Time is of the essence." He logged off.

"Where are you going?" Flash asked. Cate and Kara just looked on.

"To check out one of the sectors." Hal answered standing up followed by the rest of them. "It may have something to do with them" He pointed at Ben. They nodded in understanding.

"When will you be back?" Cate asked hoping it will be before she went back to the island. She wanted to watch the sparring matches in the betting site. Kara perked up at the question.

"It could be in a day's time or week's time. Space missions are very unpredictable." He answered. The last time they tried predicting an invasion occurred messing up their schedule.

"Oh" Cate sighed.

"Aren't you going to inform the others?" Kara asked noticing they were heading towards the hanger. The other heroes present when the guardian made the call knew Hal was going on a space mission again.

"Flash will tell them. I...we" He corrected and gestured to Ben "have to leave now" the guardians don't give out assignments personally.

Do you have any idea of what is happening? Ben communicated with Trixx.

The distress signal emanated from deep in space. I cannot find any information on it. Trixx replied showing the results. She had not finished organizing the information retrieved from the guardians.

Which alien is most suited for this mission? He asked already thinking of the Martian or the almeraci sample he has not turned into yet.

Kryptonian and Asgardian, Trixx replied showing him the particulars of the mission. They distance to be covered was almost twice what they covered last time so speed was a factor to be considered.

"What are you going to change into?" Flash asked excited. "The Martian? You haven't turned into him yet." No one had mentioned it before but they all were curious to see his Martian form.

"You can do that?" Cate asked intrigued at his powers. Ben looked at Kara inquisitively.

"She doesn't know" she revealed to him.

"What don't I know?" "I'll tell you later" Cate and Kara spoke simultaneously.

"Okaay...you're acting all weird"

They reached the hanger and Ben started scrolling for aliens in his watch. "No, Superman and Thor are faster than him and almost all of my other aliens don't look like humans" he explained and stopped scrolling. They could all see Supreme's hologram. "They would generate more questions than answers." No one was familiar with his aliens.

A bright green light engulfed Ben and covered most of the hanger for a few seconds then disappeared to reveal Supreme. He chose him because he had yet to experience space travel in this form.

"Is that...?" Cate couldn't stop staring. This was the guy that helped save the world from doomsday. She couldn't wrap her mind around the fact that Ben had just developed a body to rival superman, Thor and Shazam in an instant.

"Yes" was Karas simple reply. Taking time to study Supreme. Something about him irked her.

"I didn't know he could be so good-looking" Cate blurted out still staring. Hal and Flash chose to ignore that outburst but Supremes face flushed and he was suddenly uncomfortable under the two ladies stares.

Kara elbowed the other girl turning to her with a shocked expression.

"What!? It's my opinion" Cate defended herself. In Themyscira they did not sugar coat anything and everyone spoke what was on their mind.

"We should head out" Hal activated his green aura and floated up in the air heading towards the exit.

"Yes, we should." Supreme reluctantly agreed and floated up giving the others one last look.

"You better come back soon. We have money to win!" The flash ordered them and taking out his tablet to update the rest of the team.

"We will" Hal and Supreme breached the hanger's force field and shot into space.

"Excuse me?" Cate asked her sensitive ears picked up some murmuring.

"What?" Kara was already following the flash heading to the teleporter.

"Nothing. I thought I heard something" Cate dismissed.

"What didn't I know?"

OA

"What have you found out about them?" One guardian asked the almeraci general walking a step behind his Queen who was conversing with the other guardians.

"Nothing. The two prisoners taken are of no use to us." The general gritted his teeth at the thought of not knowing the identity of an enemy to Almerac.

"What do you mean?" the guardian had a confused expression on his face. "If they have resisted cooperating we can be of help to that."

The general paused and looked at floating figure beside him, "No one refuses my Queen," he stated as a matter of fact. "They used cyanide pills before she could get to them."

As a general he commended it as an efficient way to prevent captured warriors from talking even though at the moment he didn't think so highly of it.

"And as you have already figured it out, the others are useless. We had to kill their queen. She couldn't be subdued." General MC added.

"We have increased and upgraded security around the planet. This will never happen again." The general declared looking at his Queen, vowing to her in the process.

Another section in the watchtower

"What makes you think its Lex luthor?" Superman asked Batman in their newly designated control room for conducting all things multidimensional travel. Banner had followed them up from the infirmary.

"He was spotted in Gotham before and after the attack." Batman reasoned. Cyborg had dug up a cctv footage that caught a glimpse of the billionaire in a car.

"Maybe he was there on business?" Superman suggested. "Just saying" he added when the vigilante gave him one of his bat glares.

"Why don't you just arrest him?" Banner spoke up. From all the articles he read of the billionaire, only a handful of them were not tied to conspiracies or an organized crime.

"He has connections." Batman answered. If Luthor had been an ordinary criminal he could have already been rotting in a jail cell.

"Then we'll have to wait for Oliver to recover so he can give us his report." Superman suggested. "In the mean time we'll have to find waller." Batman had already brought him up to speed in regards to Nightwings attack. They could be connected.

"I'm getting closer to that" batman filled him in. "Where are your team members?" He asked Banner after scrolling through his tablet. "Ben and Hal have been assigned on another mission." He informed them.

"Where?" Superman asked. Maybe he could join them later.

"The flash hasn't specified the details yet. You bored with earth already?"

They both turned at the sound of the Scoff from Banner. "This place is way more interesting than ours." He wasn't wrong when he was staring at a person with godly powers who could shoot heat lasers from his eyes and could fly.

"Maybe. But it's also more dangerous than your place. That's why we should keep tabs on everyone." The latest attacks proved that the villains are no longer afraid to take lives.

"That's true. Everyone is super powered in this universe." Banner agreed. "That doomsday guy could give the hulk a run for his money."

"He's that strong" Superman stated. He felt his strength.

"Possibly. His strength is directly proportional to his anger." Banner explained.

"That's why black widow wanted you to stand down." Batman recalled a conversation he had with the female hero.

"Yes. That fight would have ended with one of us dead and probably most of the United States destroyed."

"How do you figure?" Superman asked intrigued.

"The hulk smashes, he won't stop to consider damage he may cause when fighting. The same method as doomsday." They both stored that new information revealed. "Plus considering their regenerative abilities, that could have been a lengthy fight."

"Have you thought about controlling it?" the man of Steel wondered aloud. "of course you have" he retracted his statement at the faces both heroes gave him. What kind of question was that.

"I noticed your healing ability is quiet efficient." Superman couldn't help but add. "The same rate as doomsday" Batman tuned in again.

"The same thing with strength, they're proportional" Banner offered him the information.

"Luthor didn't see that one coming when he tried infiltrating your base." Batman recalled the footage caught by the avengers cctv cameras. Bruce had since discovered that Banner and Tony were more like geniuses but there alter egos was not something to be desired. The hulk was a raging beast while Tony had an entitled alter ego.

The comms system lit up before a projection of a guardian appeared.

"Greetings Superman, Batman and Bruce" the guardian greeted the group.

"Greetings. Hal and Supreme have already departed." Batman informed him knowing it may be important to have them confirm their departure.

Banner still had a smile on his face while he stared at the alien.

So different than ours. Maybe the hulk could exist here without it causing trouble. Plus if he ever got out of control, superman or one of the leagues top hitters could subdue him.

"I wish to speak to you, superman." The guardian revealed. "Queen Maxima is in OA for a courtesy call and her next destination would be earth if she does not speak to Hal Jordan."

"A justice league representative is required to answer the queen's questions." The guardian continued.

"If we don't go, she will come to earth" superman looked worried. Earth cannot handle Maximas temper tantrums.

"You could take J'onn?" Batman suggested aware of Maxima and supermans history.

"J'onn is busy" He reminded him. "He needs to help team arrow recover. They need him. I can handle her."

This was going to be the longest 48hours of his life. The things I do for earth!

Somewhere in space

"There's no signs of life on the planet" Supreme stated. His enhanced senses couldn't pick up anything as he and Hal were floating in orbit.

"Only one way to be sure." Green lanterns deals with facts and they had to confirm if it was indeed true. They headed down to the planet.

On the planet, apart from the lack of signs of life, nothing seemed out of place. Various machines and power plants were still running, the streets were filled with all kinds of vehicles and spacecraft's, all the buildings completely intact. No signs of war or a struggle. The planet had a red sun thus the atmosphere was completely different from earth and he could feel the effect it brought on him and his body. That definitely confirmed the weakness outlined among the many regarding to kryptonians.

"What happened here? It's like everyone vanished from sight." Supreme wondered hovering above the tall futuristic buildings using his enhanced vision to scan all around them.

"I can't locate Killowog." Hal's frustration was evident in his voice. He had conjured up a green screen scanning reading the results he obtained from scanning the planet.

"I can't sense anyone either. Maybe they left the planet willingly?" Supreme tried reasoning out. No invasion whether by a powerful being or not would be welcomed and make the natives to just drop whatever they were doing and surrender.

"Trixx can't pick up on anything either. All the electronics and machines seems to be operating fine with them having switched to auto control for the time being." Supreme mentioned what was being displayed on his HUD. Trixx had hacked into the local network and found nothing strange with it. "What if they are all dead?"

"They can't be. His ring would have either found another bearer with a strong will or would have returned to OA." Hal explained to him.

"He might have discovered whatever happened here and got taken because of it." Supreme realised.

"He wouldn't go down without a fight. He taught me better than that." Hal said looking deep in thought. After sinestro went rogue, killowog was the only mentor he remained with in the lantern corps.

This planet has been deserted for close to 72 hours. There is no trace of whatever was responsible for it. The satellites were powered down using the correct procedure indicating no external interference in their servers Trixx spoke out via the watches audio system.

Hal turned to look at them before typing something in the green construct before it deconstructed. "I know a place not far from this solar system where we can ask around. I am not leaving before finding the people of this planet and my friend" He declared. "You can go back and inform the league I will be unavailable for a couple of days." He owed it to Killowog to investigate no matter how long it took.

"Done" Supreme informed him. Trixx had just sent out a message to the watchtower explaining their current predicament.

"You don't have to do this. It will only delay you in finding your way back home" Hal appreciated his gesture but whatever was going on with Ben and the avengers was too big compared to some investigation into a lanterns disappearance.

"I know. But I choose to." Supreme reassured him. "I know what it's like to be stranded out in space with no one to help you" He couldn't forget about the incursean invasion.

"You?" Hal looked at him surprised. "What happened to the watch?"

"I couldn't use it at the time" Supreme answered having a far away look on his face. "Both my hands were tied and I couldn't reach it"

"That must have been rough" He understood why that was a big deal to him. "I can only imagine what I would do if I couldn't use my ring in times of need."

"Thanks. Luckily I got through it." Supreme offered him a smile. "I'm sure killowog will make contact when he can. In the mean time we should head to the place you suggested" He had accessed killowogs file from the files he obtained from the guardians and it showed how a great lantern he was. He was the second highest ranked lantern after Hal.

"I know. And when he does make contact we will be ready." Hal vowed. "Follow me"

They soon exited that solar system and were heading for what looked like an outpost curved into a huge meteor rock. No sooner had they entered the yellow sun solar system than Supreme could feel the immediate effect on his body. Whatever the red sun affected was cleared away in an instant and he felt revived and strong.

Space ships of different sizes were docking and taking off in the various hangers around the meteor. Some of them simply hovered in the meteors orbit showing no sign of docking.

"Where are we?" Supreme asked still taking in the view in front of him. It was breathtaking.

"This is the go to place to find anything you are looking for in this part of the universe. Kind of like the black market of space." Hal answered. "Killowog brought me here when we were hunting down a certain warlord responsible for poisoning half his people in order to remain in power."

"So there's like a bunch of aliens inside?" Supreme deduced. This did not look like a place for humans to hang out or to be found.

Trixx. Can you detect any new aliens? He mentally asked.

I cannot sense any uncatalogued life forms in proximity. This may be due to the heavy and unknown material used in making the asteroid. Trixx supplied.

Trying to use his X-Ray vision, he could not see past the outer rocky layer of the huge asteroid. That explains it, probably encased in lead.

Hal turned to look at his watch catching on to what he was implying. "Yes there are but we won't be going to the main part or stay long. They don't appreciate the presence of a green lantern and we can't have them knowing about your watch when you scan the entire population in there." He reasoned with Ben. "The last thing we need is to fight everyone who would want it for their own use thus delaying our investigation."

"I could have just scanned them from here but they've gone through extreme measures to deter anything that intends to scan this asteroid from space. I can't even see through it." Supreme was kind of disappointed. This could've been a jackpot. "So who are we going to see?" He asked Hal as they flew past the asteroid heading to one of the huge spaceships parked near it.

"An old friend" Hal answered.

"How will we know if he is telling us the truth?" Supreme was skeptical with this plan. Criminals tend to corporate when there is a quid pro quo in their favor.

"She can't lie to me. Not after I saved her" Hal thought about it.

"Her? Do you even have male acquaintances!?" Supreme accused crossing his arms across his chest thinking of Maxima and definately what transpired between the two of them.

"I do! More than enough actually given that watch of yours has like a million" Hal argued back but mentally agreed with him.

"Anyway, can you trust her100%?" Supreme asked.

"I wouldn't say 100%...more like 60%" Hal admitted and added "It's better than nothing."

"Yeah...but I have something better though its a little unethical" Supreme admitted but liking the idea of it.

"That depends on how you define the word unethical since everything that happens in this huge piece of rock is unethical to some degree. Let's hear it."

"Okay. Keep an open mind here. What if I read her thoughts. She won't have to lie to us." Supreme explained reaching for his watch and started scrolling through the aliens.

"You have an alien for that? Never mind. I forgot you had his DNA" Hal saw him stop when he reached the hologram of a very familiar alien he knew.

In a flash of bright green light Supreme changed to another form.

Superman landed to find a large number of lanterns casually talking and flying about near what he knew was an Almeraci space ship that was docked in front of the guardians headquarters. Most of them were trying to get the attention of the several female soldiers that accompanied their queen during this courtesy visit.

"Superman! They have been expecting you." Shan, one of the almeraci female guards recognized him and moved to meet him.

"The queen instructed to notified when any member of the justice league arrived."

"Thank you" he greeted her and the rest of the assembled group. "Maybe you can put a hold on the order as I am on my way to their meeting" He suggested to the soldier.

"I must notify my queen" she insisted reaching for her tablet.

"If you must" Superman sighed walking faster heading to the boardroom.

"Superman!" He groaned as soon as he entered the room.

"If I knew you were coming I would have dressed appropriately, my love" Queen Maxima stood up from her seat and started walking towards him.

"Your majesty, guardians." Superman gave a small bow in respect and smiled at the queen "No need your highness. Your attire is quite fitting for this occasion"

"You flatter me" Maxima batted her eyelashes at him and swayed her hips deliciously covered by the most sexy warriors attire he had ever scene. The attire showed an obscene amount of cleavage that could crumble any man's will and make them beg her for attention. Wonderwomans attire came second to it.

Maxima was pleasantly surprised at seeing superman attend their little meeting as she had requested Hal Jordan whom she knew could never resist her charms. Giving him a once over, she couldn't help but compare him to the other human she met during the invasion. Definately good genes she thought already planning how she would get both of them to bed.

"Superman, good of you to join us. Please have a seat so we may begin" one guardian greeted and instructed knowing the meeting would never continue of Maxima had her way.

"Thank you." He responded but was interrupted by the queen linking her arm with his and pulling him to where she had been sitting.

"You have the pleasure of seating next me during the meeting" She announced dragging him away.

Supermans groan was barely audible as he allowed her to tag him along.

When will this meeting be over

EARTH

"I have heard so much about this place from my sister." Cate squealed looking around the expansive structure made of ice and clear crystals resembling huge elongated diamonds. Diana always talked about the only place where Superman could stop holding back his strength when he was sparring with either her or his durable combat robots.

After Ben and Hals departure, Kara, with supermans consent had taken Cate to the fortress with the idea of learning more about Krypton in the fortress of solitude to which she happily followed her.

"This is one of the places I come to unwind or get away from the world when I need a break from all of it." Kara spoke up walking to the control room to meet Kelex, the robot responsible for maintaining the fortress.

"But why is it empty?" Cate asked. Without the huge crystal pillars supporting the structure, one would still think they are in the vast open space that was the Arctic. It's a good thing their dense skin protected them from the harsh cold condition of this place.

"This is the basic design for most of Krypton's infrastructure as stored in our Crystal technology." Kara explained producing what looked like an elongated diamond.

"Your machines are so simple compared to the ones on the watchtower" Cate complimented looking at the huge computer integrated in the crystal wall. Kara was currently typing into it scanning if there was an emergency she could assist in.

"I'm bored." Cate announced. "Let's go to the training room" It has been a few days since she last sparred or did any sort of physical exercise that could tire her out. She needed it.

"I can see you're so eager to get your ass kicked" Kara turned to look at her and smirked at the offended expression on her friends face. "I should warn you that I came from a military family back in our planet."

"And I should warn you that I come from a home of amazon warriors taught to fight by the gods of olympus for thousands of years" Cate shot back stretching her limbs in anticipation of having to fight with an equal opponent.

"Let's see if you can keep up with a kryptonian" Kara logged off the computer and started walking out after commanding kelex to get the training room ready.

"Care to bet on that?" Cate challenged. She once heard her sister telling her mother how for all the power superman possessed, his hand to hand combat skills was mediocre at best.

Kara just smirked as she led the way.

High above the clouds directly on top of the fortress of solitude was a space ship and space hog hovering side by side scanning the continent below.

Two unknown figures each holding a tracking device were looking for the huge structure perfectly camouflaged in the vast white mountainous snow. Their tracking device was heavily modified to detect the unique energy signature emitted by Kryptonians powered up by the yellow sun. This technology cost them a lot of money.

According to them, this world did not live up to their expectations or hype that it was the only planet to have defended and thwarted Darkseids invasion. No planet targeted by the evil New god had ever escaped their fate.

After some scrutiny done by the other war Lords and civilizations, the successful rebellion against the dark lord was considered as luck due to them having an element of surprise when the Kryptonian aided them in battle. A specie long thought extinct.

However the defeat of doomsday, darkseids ultimate weapon, cemented this less evolved world as a superior power in the universe. Word had spread of the great feats performed on this simple planet by the Kryptonian making it the perfect place for a sadistic intergalactic tyrant and ruler of war world to pick out his next champion. That's what lead him to travel light-years and make a deal with him.

Normally he would send his best gladiator Draga and some of his soldiers but this was a highly sensitive mission which required stealth and the element of surprise on their part otherwise even the lantern corps would get involved hindering any success.

"Fulfil your end of the deal and I will keep mine" Mongol half threatened the bounty hunter whom he had no choice but to acquire his service.

"The Main Man's word is his bond" Lobo's deep gruff base voice declared while revving up his space hog engine "Let's get this frucking thing over with!" He raced down to the snow filled continent.

Mongul followed his lead. Lobo was the most successful tracker in the universe and powerful enough to subdue someone with kryptonian strength should he fail in doing so. The warlord also knew that Lobo would never break his contract even if it means death whether by him or this superman as he was called. Plus this was a mutually beneficial partnership for them.

"What's going on?" Cate asked Kara who had super sped into the control room the moment the alarms started sounding throughout the fortress interrupting their sparring match.

Both were heavily covered in sweat and had discovered that Kara slightly surpassed Cate in raw physical strength but Cate was a more expert combatant than her.

"We have two unidentified objects approaching the fortress and its not anyone we know from the league" Kara answered bringing up the surveillance feed.

"Kelex lock down the fortress and activate the defenses once I make contact" She ordered her brothers trusted AI while quickly changing into her hero costume and walking out of the control room. Clark was very clear on how destructive the weapons and information found in the fortress could be if they ended up in the wrong hands. They had no time, the two figures were closing in fast.

"Wait! I can help." Cate offered flying after her friend. "It's probably one of those injustice league guys who found out superman was on a space mission."

"They shouldn't have found this location so easily." Kara thought about it. Kryptonian tech was way more advanced than anything they used and Cate did have some sort of combat experience. "Okay, but I take the lead"

"The targets have been identified as Lobo the bounty hunter and Mongul the warlord." Kelex voice spoke up from the audio systems. "The best cause of action is to fortify the fortress and call for immediate back up. I am currently experiencing some difficulties in contacting the league."

"Who are those? And shouldn't we listen to it?" Cate was flying alongside Kara heading for the exit.

"Come on, we have to intercept them before they get any closer" Kara sped up completely ignoring kelex.

Kara and Cate hovered off the ground a couple of metres from the two intruders eyes fixed on them.

"Maybe calling for back up wasn't such a bad idea." Kara whispered during the stare down.

Kara and Cate saw two huge figures rivalling doomsday in physic walking towards them steadily. One of them had a bald head, red eyes and yellow skin wearing some sort of skin tight purple armor with huge defined muscles underneath.

The other one had a height of 7' 6", very long black dreadlocks on his head, blood red eyes surrounded by a black triangular mark, white skin, had a thick chain hook strapped on his arm, wore dark jeans with too many bulging side pockets and despite the cold and windy weather, he was smoking a cigar. His combat boots had spikes all over them.

"Where is the kryptonian! The Main Man doesn't have all day talking to little girls!" Lobo shouted after noticing the two tiny girls on their path.

"You're looking at her!" Kara responded offended by the brute. "This is a restricted zone. Turn back and you won't be imprisoned!"

Cate was observing the other brute watch them carefully. She had a feeling they won't depart unless they met Kara's cousin.

Lobo turned to Mongul confused and surprised, "she was the one who defeated darkseid and doomsday?" Rumours in their part of the universe stated the kryptonian was a male.

"No, she wasn't but if she accompanies us, the other one will follow her. This will be easier than I thought." Monguls evil smirk was apparent.

"The Main Man does not beat up defenseless women." Lobo told Mongul knowing what the warlord had in mind, he on the other hand had a code.

"You dare break our deal bounty hunter!" Mongul clenched his fist at this insubordination.

"I do not break my word! Ever! The deal was to fight a male kryptonian and take whatever database he has. Not to fight a female kryptonian and some other human!" Lobo's voice was low and threatening. He could already see a dozen loopholes in this contract and he was nobody's bitch.

"Who are you calling weak?" Cate raged at the thought. It reminded her of how some of her sisters compared her to Diana.

"Turn back now or we will make you!" Kara warned.

The two warlords stopped threatening each other to look at them.

"Hahahahaha, bitches be crazy!" Lobo was actually hunched over dying of laughter. "Good one!"

"I shall beat them into submission and mold them into the perfect soldiers, or servants." The warlord had enough time to decide.

"You talk to much. Get on with it. I will retrieve whatever is in there" Lobo steadied his breathing and gestured to the huge structure behind the ladies. They walked onwards.

Kara and Cate charged.

Mongol saw Cates punch coming but did nothing to stop it, a very huge mistake for him. The punch connected with the warlord's right cheek and sent him tumbling sideways a good away and the loud sound reverberating through the snow.

Lobo put up his arm to block Kara punch which pushed him back a couple of metres before receiving an onslaught of successive powerful punches stinging him a little.

"What gives!? The Main Man's all about loving not fighting!" Lobo complained when he accidentally hit slapped Kara to a few steps back.

"I'd rather go to hell!" kara snapped. He's tough. I shouldn't hold back she thought. He was on the same level as the top hitters in the league.

"Impressive!" Mongol praised the human. For such a small body she hit hard. "I think you two will be my personal guards" He added after witnessing the power behind the other human's punches against Lobo.

"Shut up!" Cate attacked.

Being a warlord and growing up an amazon had certain such as being expert combatants. Mongol greatly overpowered Cate in physical strength but her skills and powers made up for it.

With her speed and power of flight, she had Mongol in a choke hold squeezing with all her might while resisting his attempts to flip her over. This was tougher than when she had Diana in a similar position.

Lobo on the other hand was still toying with Kara and rapidly healing from severe burns on his face.

"More! I like my women feisty!" Lobo grinned watching the lady spit saliva on the snow after he had kissed her. She reminded him of an Almeraci lady he once knew.

"You're going to be sorry for that!" kara snarled glancing at Cate's fight. She wasn't doing well either.

Speeding to her, she punched Mongol so hard he collided with a distant pile of snow mountain.

"Get back to the fortress and call it in!" she ordered cate. Looking at Lobo who had just finished healing and was walking towards them with a smile. What a creep

"Why? I can help you defeat them." Cate argued looking back watching mongul charge at them through the heavy snow.

"They are as strong as me and you. You have to" kara urged her. "Come back when your done, I'll hold them off"

After a moment of hesitation, cate flew off.

"No fair! The Main Man doesn't share!" Lobo complained and whistled watching the other human retreat.

"You won't need to after I'm done with you!" Kara snarled and blasted him back with her heat vision and flew forward to meet Mongol head on.

The shock wave from their collision lead to an avalanche in a nearby mountain and both of them being thrown apart.

She was sweating. The amount of strength she was using was more than what she used when sparring with her cousin. An explosion caught her attention and she saw a space hog firing on Cate as she maneuvered in air and Lobo laughing at the whole scene.

This is going to be harder than I thought. She charged at Lobo to stop him from controlling that hog.

With a surprising burst of speed, Lobo sidestepped her, took a stand and caught her cape as she flew past him halting her movement completely causing a whiplash effect and she fell to the ground dizzy.

"Sorry about this love, as much as I love foreplay before pleasure, I need to wrap this up fast." Looking at her leeringly while pocketing and removing case with kryptonite inside it. The effect was instantaneous. Kara lay motionless on the ground.

"This piece of rock almost run me dry when buying it. Totally worth it!" He dropped it next to her and headed for the structure. He was tackled to the side with Mongols body and they ended up bundled up on the snow.

Cate knelt to check up on her friend and noticed how weak she looked. Couldn't even hold up her head but her eyes were looking at the green rock beside them. Not thinking too much of it she picked it up and brought it closer to her.

Maybe she needs it

She threw the rock away immediately she saw her reaction to it. Not good. She thought then saw the relieved expression on her face.

"Are you OK?" She asked checking her for injuries.

"Submit and you won't share the same fate" Mongol was walking towards her no signs of the ongoing battle on him.

Lobo was already trying to blow open the fortress. "Damn it! My fraggs (grenades) got nothing on this thing!" He punched the door angrily, the whole structure shook a little and canons appeared and started shooting at Lobo.

J'onn and Banner teleported a few metres away from the group and surveyed the scene. Superman had sent an emergency message through their second control room requesting the leaguers to look into whatever was happening after receiving a distress signal.

Kara was steadily growing strong.

"I am an Amazon, and we never quit!" Cate snarled charging at him her movement slowing down. She managed to knock the two of them together due to the adrenaline that rushed through her when Lobo took down Kara.

"By the authority of the Justice league we order you to stand down and state your purpose in this part of the universe." J'onn announced their presence a bit shocked at seeing who was responsible. What could superman have done to warrant the attention of Lobo and Mongul the warlord?

Having travelled to many world before settling on earth he had heard about the two and got knew what they looked like by reading one person's mind who actually interacted with both of them at point or another.

"Martian! I heard you were extinct" Mongul turned to look at the two intrigued and excited at the thought of the Martian as a champion.

Lobo had also turned and started walking back to them also interested in the Martian.

"You are ordered to vacate this planet at once!" If all the stories he heard about this two it'll be easier if they left willingly.

Banner just stood looking at the two imposing figures looking curiously at the them. Definitely more intimidating than Abomination was his thought as he looked beside them to see supergirl sitting up and Cate hovering still watching the two figures.

"I bet the collector would be very generous if I bring you in" Lobo grinned coming to stand beside Mongul studying J'onn.

"I can already picture the extended vacation I'm soon taking"

"This one's mine!" He stated looking at Mongul. "You can have the 2 Kryptonians. They're too many for my taste. Take the humans too."

"What are they thinking?" Banner asked J'onn cautious moving towards supergirl.

"You don't want to know" J'onn replied then communicated telepathically to Cate who nodded even though she had a surprised expression on her face. She didn't know about all his abilities.

Lobo using his enhanced speed and reflex, threw a couple of metal disks supposed to attach themselves to J'onn who in turn went intangible and sank into the ground. "Fuck! I forgot they could do that." He cursed watching them fall harmlessly onto the ground.

"Truly a worthy opponent." Mongul commented watching how him appeare behind Lobo grabbing him and disappeared with him inside the ground. Looking around, he noticed the other two checking up on the kryptonian. He'll have time take them then get to the other one when he comes to warworld.

"You don't have to do this, they are just kids" Banner tried the rational way. "You can have Me and J'onn but not them" He pointed to the two ladies. I didn't know kryptonite was this deadly to them supergirl was so out of it.

"You fail to understand. All of you belong to war world now" Mongul smirked closing in on them.

"I thought I could avoid this but it seems I can't. Take care of her and help J'onn." Banner stood up putting himself between them.

"What? You'll get hurt! Get behind me!" Cate looked up in alarm and reached for the older man moving forward.

Her fingers wrapped around his forehead arm and started pulling surprised when she felt resistance and his arm getting somehow bigger and his skin changing to green. She let go of him and stood dazed watching.

For the first time that day, Mongol smiled. This planet is full of warriors he thought feeling excited at the thought of showcasing them in war world. They charged at each other.

Loud punches echoed all around them as hulk and Mongul went at each other. At the start of the fight, the green being wasn't a challenge to Mongul but the more they punched and beat each other, the stronger it was getting. It had no sense of fighting style but its aggressiveness, regeneration ability and the super stength greatly aided it.

J'onn on the other hand stopped phasing through the thick ancient ice and let go of Lobo who got disoriented from the whole experience and being dumped into an underground lake. His eyes glowed green, activating his telepath abilities.

Lobo turned his head cautious at the sudden disappearance of the Martian. His near invulnerable skin protected him from the harshest of weather conditions and he's also been to planets colder than whatever this place was.

He stopped all motion and had a dazed look on his face. The probing was getting stronger. The Martian was attacking and had turned invisible.

"Aaargh! frucki... " Lobo tried shouting in frustration without much success as water rushed inside his mouth any chance they got. He projected the thoughts he usually used incase he ever hunted or encountered a telepath.

J'onn cringed as memories of Lobo's sexual conquests flooded his mind for the short seconds he had gained access to it. Due to the sudden onslaught, he lost focus and became visible and tangible.

This confirmed everything J'onn ever heard of the bounty hunter. A blow to his head sent him slamming like a torpedo into a near ice berg completely shattering it then started sinking still disoriented. He's strong. Shaking his head getting his bearing on and altering his density.

Lobo and J'onn lunged forward each moving at inhuman speeds underwater.

J'onn turned intangible and phased through lobo before alternatering his density to have near invulnerable skin and turned around with a kick to his back further adding to his momentum.

Lobo collided with a pillar from the fortress shaking the very huge structure above them. He had a smile on his face cracking his knuckles and retrieving the chain wrapped up in one of his hands.

The air around the length of the chain started boiling.

A long forgotten thought came to mind and luckily he did a job for a magician who enchanted his chain as payment. He blurred over to the Martian who seemed surprised by his speed and hooked his chain around him. Gotcha! His thought was interrupted by him jerking upwards through the water.

J'onn felt the burning sensation and shot up, flying out of the water with lobo hanging on him by holding his chain.

A part of the fortress contained a hole huge enough for someone to pass through but it was high enough that you have to be hovering when using it.

Huge craters filled the area and he could no longer see the two sexy ladies. Then he heard them. Loud punches echoed all around them and the occasional roar and stumping of heavy feet.

Fuck! I couldn't punch through that damn wall lobo groaned.

Hulks fist connected with Monguls huge chest knocking the air out of his lungs and sending him back a couple of meters heaving for a few seconds before retaliating by meeting the hulk head on no longer holding back.

Mongul grabbed a dazed hulk by the neck and threw him against the fortress cracking the crystal wall before charging forward and punching the falling hulk through and into the structure. That's the second hole they created.

Hulk roared. "Hulk smash!" was heard followed by hulk punching the titan creating a huge wave before continuing struggling to subdue the other.

"You will do well as my champion!" Mongul stood up wiping the blood oozing from his rapidly healing nose. So many years had passed since he felt his muscles strain the way it did when fighting this green raging beast. He was sure their extended stay had started drawing unnecessary attention and the green titan was getting angrier.

Hulk stood up anger in his eyes staring at the yellow alien who was almost as powerful as superman. He charged, this time not holding back concerned of the damage it would cause.

Lobo saw Mongul fly in the opposite direction he had just thrown the Martian with his chains still burning him. Running after him was a green being roaring whose broken and bruised hand was rapidly healing with every step he took. There weren't many beings apart from him in the universe whose punches could stagger Mongul, the ruler of war world. He has to get in on this after bagging the Martian and the database.

Hulk attacked Lobo when he saw J'onn writhing in pain and the hunter heading towards one of the breaches in the fortress walls.

Lobo back handed the hulk into the wall and clenched his fist.

"Not bad!" He felt the power the green being had. "But the Main Man don't have time for this." He put on spiked brass knuckles on each hand. He put up his arm and taunted. "Well, come on then!" He twisted his fingers and beckoned him.

Mongul woke up startled and looked around for the green being who made up for his lack of fighting skills by the raw power he had. He enjoyed fighting a worthy opponent but now he was on a mission. To force the kryptonians to join his war world. He headed into the fortress where he saw the two ladies disappear into. After searching and the two ladies putting up quite a fight, he managed to subdue them and decided to take them both. They'll be hard to subdue but they had the power to become great champions and warriors when trained right. My personal assassins.

"Fuck!" Lobo shouted excited and shaking the stump that was his whole arm regenerating after the fragg he used obliterated his arm and part of his chest.

The hulk was on the ground with a huge hole where his heart and chest should have been and the rest of his body charred.

"Nothing tops The Main Man!" He declared triumphant watching his opponent lay still. A few punches into their fight, he had realized it had a regenerative healing factor that could rival his own and that irked him. It took a lot of effort and strength to pin it down and puncture his durable holding one of his frags against its heart and they were all torn apart..

Lobo's smirk turned angry when he saw the hulk fidgeting and its heart and chest regenerating faster than an average person with enhanced healing.

"What the fuck!" Lobo began but was interrupted by Mongol stepping out of the fortress carrying two unconscious figures.

"Our deal is done, Lobo. You're free of war world." Mongul told the hunter who's been his top most recruiter of fighters. He activated his portal.

"Don't leave me in this hell hole you piss of shit!" Lobo threatened at the thought of being trapped in a weak planet and using his space hog for such a long ride across the universe. He watched Mongul focus on something behind him and walked through the portal.

Hulk startled from his spot and saw Mongul carrying supergirl and cate into some kind of portal like the one Loki used back in their home world. A shot of adrenaline e rushed through him, he punched Lobo to the side and sped to the portal jumping in just as it was closing.

Groans from the Martian could be heard, Lobo cursing out at everything and two big green feet surgically cut from the knee down lay on the snow covering it in green blood.
