Chapter 16 - The Crown Prince

"We are moving now, Mr White," yelled the chef boy from the front.

He, the Agastya boy, is known as the apprentice chef, leading the carriage to move.

I open the carriage window to see the outside scenery, and there is also a tiny window from where the handmaiden is sitting. If it were open, we could see the coachman in front. Well, no coachman, for now, only the chef boy.

The long journey tired me out, with many thoughts coming out from my mind.

Besides being tired, I also felt sleepy.

To exemplify my work, these few days, I only ordered my delivery guy to purchase a new carriage and horses since I only have three carriages moving in here, which is a last-minute acquisition, and I have no option at that time. Surprisingly, the horse stable is already half-accomplished by today.

The furniture was not complete yet since the only place being furnished by now was the lounge area, my private parlour area, my chamber, kitchen, dining area, the servant compartment and their resting area, which is also their dining area.

Well, also, the guest chamber.

Build and repair finished quickly, but I still have not done anything besides the mansion and the horse stable.

The thought of the scene from three days ago suddenly flashed through my head.

Considering that the man who called himself a Crown Prince was acting like a child was something I couldn't imagine.

...

...

"No. Return them to where they belong," tell me to the man.

"What? I don't want to return them." he still stubbornly refused.

"Why?" I frowned.

"I bought them from the black market, so," he responded with his arms crossed.

"...that means they are victims of abuse."

"...and they should be grateful that they were bought by the Son of a King and not just anyone."

"No."

"If you don't want to, I'll kill them," tell him; then he pulled a knife from between his trousers and walked towards one of his servants.

Their faces became increasingly anxious.

I didn't expect him to do anything because I assumed he was a foolish man.

My eyes focused on his hand that was holding the knife tightly, and he swung it towards the neck of a girl and caused her neck to bleed profusely.

The scene happened clearly like it was happening in the slow-motion movement as the girl fell to the ground and her blood ran through the dirt.

As I was looking at her, I believed that not everyone is born to be a motivator. He is an example of someone who brings disaster.

I said what I said; I was ready to be taken away.

Two slaps were not enough for a man like him.

At that moment, it causes chaos among the servants. While everyone was trying to run away, the guard blocked their way. Instead of leaving these innocent people alive, they would just let them die in this man's hand.

I took the guard cylinder tools from his hand, which was standing in front of me and walked toward that foolish Crown Prince.

"Ha ha ha ha... See, this is what will happen if you..."

Before he could turn his body towards me, the iron cylinder had already hit his calf.

Plank!

The sound was loud.

"Mr White!" yelled the handmaiden, ready to run toward me but was held by the head chef.

"What are you doing?" asked the Crown Prince.

Without saying anything, I swung the iron cylinder a second time.

Plank!

"It hurts!" he shouted, then swung his knife at me.

His sharp knife came and tore my sleeve, but my eye was locked on the girl who was lying on the ground while ignoring my sleeve, already wet with blood.

"I think he's dead," I said.

Her body was stiff, and her face was in fright.

"She died because of you. Unquestionably," he replied with no emotions toward the dead body but thought it as some punishment for me.

I turned my gaze to the man.

"Mr White," yelled the handmaiden again with a tense complexion. The head chef seems to no longer hold her from walking toward me. Perhaps she is insisting on moving.

"Dare to walk and distribute us, will..."

Plank!

Another swing hit him in the face before he could finish his word.

He, who had been standing majestically holding his knife, was now holding his red face.

I walk a few steps closer, then swing another flick toward him.

Plank!

Plank!

Plank!

Plank!

Their faces grew increasingly anxious and fearful, especially the reaction on the handmaiden's face towards me as the whipping did not stop even though the man was shouting at me to stop.

Thinking back,

The guards who were around were silent after I came and beat him. Perhaps because my status and his were not so different, maybe just because he was the Son of a King, it did not mean that a nobleman should be under his authority.

"Please...Please...Please don't hit me."

He cried while begging to stop, but I never heard him apologising.

Petty man.

Plank!

Plank!

Plank!

Plank!

It continued till he passed out.

And only then did I stop.

"Take her to the guest room," I instructed his servant.

"Mr delivery guy and Head Chef, follow me," I said as I bowed to the ground and carefully lifted the lifeless woman's body.

"Ms handmaiden, please be sure every servant has a feast, including the new servant." continued me.

She slightly bows at me and then walks toward the other servants.

"Mr White, we are arrived."

The town here is undoubtedly more petite than the capital, but it is more scented than the town area.

However, at the end of this urban area, there is a place that smells like the sea.

Is there a fish? I thought.

"Mr White, according to Mr Larson's map, the bookstore is in this area... Mr White?" she called when she realised their master had disappeared in the blink of an eye.
