Chapter 27 - Worthless

The sound of the increasingly fierce wind from the dining room made the ceiling light shake as if it were experiencing an earthquake.

My body felt cold because of the worsening weather and the atmosphere became even tenser when I sat at a table with two people sitting very close to me, which made it look ridiculous; they knew that the dining table in this room was big enough for twenty people to sit at but choose to fill the end of the table.

My eyes looked towards Mr Roderick and the Crown Prince, thinking.

Wouldn't it be better if the Crown Prince sat in his usual place, the opposite end of mine?

However, each of them shovelled every dish on the table into their mouths without paying any attention to each other.

After a few bites, I glimpsed toward Mr Roderick, who had already finished half his food.

"Mr Roderick..." I called out, wanting to ask a question.

"Only him? What about me?" the Crown Prince suddenly growled.
