"Shut up, everyone!" Yell her from the top of her lungs.
"Pardon me for letting them speak as they like, Mr White," she said, then bowed at me.
I look at her with no words, then turn my face toward the man behind me.
"How many servants we have now, Mr Butler?"
"Fifty people, Mr White." He answered.
"I see, I want to know who doesn't want to work with me?" I said calmly while spinning around to see everyone's reactions.
Yet, they can only glance at each other side with no reaction to my question.
I stopped.
"Then, who doesn't want to move out?"
More than thirty people raised their hands, including the head maid and the butler.
"For the one who is not raising their hand. Why did you choose to move out?"
I saw the black-hair girl with freckles on her face slowly raising her hand as she wanted to let me know she had her reasons.
I darted at her and nodded to signal her to continue.
"As for me, I served Master from the beginning I moved here, that's why I choose to follow," answers Hazel.
I knew she was like this, even as my handmaiden, when I was a cat. It made me wonder, I don't catch sight of my other personal, maid.
I have only been here for 3 days. Maybe in this world, this human, Mr White, only has one maid as his handmaiden.
I then swung around and said,
"Other?"
Gradually, everyone responded.
"Just because."
"It was a great opportunity to see what the other place has to offer."
"New experience."
The majority of them answer for themselves, neither for me nor that old woman.
At that moment, I knew the answer to the riddle.
"Pack your belongings by today," told me to those who did not raise their hand.
"Mr White," called the head maid as she still had something in mind to stop me from making decisions.
But I don't give a brass farting,
"For the rest, you are FIRED!"
The silence then became noisy with cries and urges, but I made up my mind.
"Master, you can not do this to us!"
"Please, I'm begging you."
Even so, they don't seem to comprehend the rationale behind it.
I flinched my fist as I was loaded with anger, and yet, I tried to remain calm.
"For what reason?" My words broke the noise in the air.
"You choose your path on your own. I tell you what I told you. I want to move out. Simple as that." explained me as I walked toward the 'Voting Program' signboard.
"What do you expect me to do? To do as you wish? Just because you don't agree with my decision? Head maid tell me who I am." continued me.
"Pardon me, Mr White?" she said, confused. Maybe scared but acting like she was confused. So I can witness her as if she was innocent.
I was silent, waiting for her to answer.
"Mmm... You are our Master, son of Mrs Matilda, the daughter and the Head Master of Alistair's Family," she said, stuttering.
"Can you see the problem?"
"Pardon,"
"I asked if you see the problem." My voice became harsh and stern.
"Pardon me, I can't," she said as she bowed her head.
"Right, Mrs Matilda, as your Head Master? Nonetheless, you guys see me as someone who is not capable of becoming the Head House." I said, try to elucidate the obvious.
"That, not it..." says the head maid, interrupting.
"Mr Butler, what is this? Did you set this up?" I kept on talking as I didn't want to let her speak while pointing my finger up towards the sign they had erected.
I understand why he corrected my word the other day. This Mr White was their puppet indeed.
"I'm afraid not, Mr White," he said, then bowed.
As I looked at him, my memory flashed dimly in my head and remembered the memory of when I was a cat. They were this couple, and both liked the wealth that the old woman gave.
A man in his 40s and a woman with 4 children in her 30s. Each intends to cheat with their respective partners.
The bitter story from it was that they were always stealing things from the house and splurging on them.
Satisfactorily for me was this Mr Aaron, the Butler itself. He betrayed her like it was nothing.
At that time, I looked at the expression on the head maid's face. Look confused and surprised.
A few who were in the area were baffled and didn't know what I meant, but most understood but hung around silently.
"Then who set this up, Mr. Butler?" I looked at his careless face with a sharp look. While he,
Glanced at the servants, silent.
"I am afraid I don't know the answers, Mr White," he said.
"Was the servants doing?" I assumed as he still glared at the servant.
However, when the butler's gapes set on a blue-eyed housekeeper with shining blonde hair, I immediately knew she would become his frame for their act.
But, she caught a glimpse of it, and she stepped forward, ready to defend herself from the accused.
"Forgive me for interrupting, Master. The signboard was already here in the morning, and we had only been told to go here this morning as some of them," she said, with ladylike behaviour.
"Shut your insolence mouth," he said toward the maid.
"Mr White, I am truthfully ashamed. This was the Head Maid's suggestion for a reason she told earlier." Continue him.
As soon as the butler finished speaking, the head maid came towards him and instantly swung a slap at the butler's countenance.
As I scrutinized both of them, I nodded to myself and thought.
He must not have planned anything when something like this came to pass, and maybe because of this, Mr White, who always consented to every idiom from them.
Turned them into bad dogs that can easily bite their owner.
Seeing the two of them slapping each other's faces made me realize.
There is one portrayal from the time when the old lady came back home with a lot of magazines in her arms.
She threw it at a table and I saw,
It is a perfect place for me to settle down and do nothing.
