Oh Lord, help me,I need you,help me. I whispered to myself. I didn't know but I held my breath afraid that even my breathing could be heard,and they might catch me.
I didn't know where I got the strength from but I barely managed to escape - not to be caught by them again but to run and save my kids.
That didn't happen,they finally got hold of me. For me to escape, I thought of the only way possible, that is to scream with the little strength l had, scream like my life depended on it but it did, though.
It didn't take long for me to get a smack from their leader who was trying to shut me up while pulling me from the bush I was hiding in. My whole body was aching, filled with bruises and cuts that with that one smack l couldn't stand it. I fell straight to my knees with two men holding my arms up.
Face down, knees down arms up, while covered with dirt and mud, l just looked and felt miserable, the only thing which still kept me going and was still holding me to keep my conciousness were my babies, the little ones still growing inside my womb. Been threatened with them once, the pain of losing them still gripped me tight, without knowing where the strength came from l pulled my hands from the two bulky men and leaned in front of their leader with my hands and forehead at his feet, l begged.
Please, please,let me go,I'm begging you.l'll do anything, absolutely anything, just let me go please - with my face stained with tears, I couldn't think anymore. I was hopless, helpless and desperate.
Okay, I'm going to give you all my properties, money,houses, just name it please. But I knew better it wasn't money they wanted, but I still tried clinging onto any tiny hope l had.
Oh - he said,which for me was joy. But my joy was cut off way too quickly. He kicked me away,with eyes looking at me mockingly.

But I didn't wait a millisecond to agree and even thank him but my glimmer of hope was short lived because he laughed out again making me jolt back in confusion.

There was a loud thunder and with just that,there started a heavy downpour. I was being swayed away like wind does to pieces of paper.
