Megan couldn't wait to speak to her friend. If lola knew that roman had agreed to helping out with the medical costs of her mother's treatment surely a huge weight will be lifted off her shoulders. Megan was waiting for Lola outside her class unable to contain her excitement.
"Lola!" Megan calls out seeing the red head walking out of class.
Lola quickly looked over at Megan as she heard her voice call her out.
"Meg! Hey!"
She smiled excitedly upon seeing her best friend. She was immediately able to notice how enthusiastic and excited she was about something. This got her curious and she spoke as soon as she reached Megan.
"You seemed super excited. What's going on?"
Megan takes her hand leading her away from the doorway. "I spoke to Roman, He agreed to pay your mother's hospital bills."
As soon as Megan's words hit Lola's ears she was filled with complete shock and awe. She felt overwhelmed with emotions and it made her heart feel warm and fuzzy inside. She knew that she would be a bit emotional and she didn't want to cry and make a fool out of herself.
"Seriously? Are you sure? How did he agree that quickly? Was he really not mad at the fact that we asked him to pay for it?"
"Babes, Roman loves me, he'd do anything I ask."
Lola couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"You're seriously telling me that you could ask him to give you a million dollars and he would straight up give it to you without even thinking twice?"
Megan smirked, "I think he would."
Lola was left speechless at her words. Her best friend was lucky to have a man who was willing to give her pretty much whatever she asks for.
"Wow...If that's not love I don't know what is."
Megan blushes thinking of how Roman spoils her. He did everything to please her no matter what. She wished she gave him as much joy as he gave her.
Lola could see how her friend was starting to think about her relationship with Roman. She decided to try and bring her attention back to the present.
"So if he is willing to do anything for you, does that mean you can tell him to stop running a mafia? Is that too big of a request?"
Megan frowns. "I don't want to talk about that Lola...you should stop talking about it too...the more we don't know anything about his things the better."
Lola noticed the slight change in her tone and she realized that she hit a sensitive spot again. She didn't wanna accidentally cause a fight between her friend and her boyfriend. She decided to drop the topic and she spoke in a gentler tone.
"Alright...I'm sorry I mentioned it...I won't bring it up again."
"It's cool...now let's go shopping. I am feeling like we both need summer outfits." Megan says holding up a black card.
Lola's heart skipped a beat when she saw the black card. She felt like her eyes could pop out of her head at the idea of spending whatever she wants without having to care about the price tag.
"Oh yeah...of course! Let's go...although you'll probably be paying for everything I buy right?"
"I got you girl."
Lola's heart skipped another beat as she smiled excitedly before finally speaking in an excited tone.
"Alright then! Let's hit the mall first. After that we can head over to the boutique I always talk about."
"Let's go."
The two friends walk to the mall together. The whole way there, Lola couldn't stop talking about how excited she was to finally be able to buy things without having to worry about money. She was extremely happy right now and she couldn't wait to pick out the clothes she wanted.

That Evening Megan came home later than usual and had brought many bags with her. Megan even felt bad for the workers who had to carry the bags for her. Megan walks over to her boyfriends office happily. She wanted to show him everything she bought. Megan entered his office forgetting to knock. Megan freezes seeing a woman with long blond hair kissing Roman.
Both Roman and the woman were so caught up in the heat of the moment that they didn't notice Megan as she entered his office. The two of them were kissing and feeling each other passionately on one of his chairs. Roman had pushed the woman's body against his own while he caressed her breasts and she enjoyed the touch of his rough yet gentle hands. When he felt something was off he started to pull away from the kiss and he looked to his side shocked to see Megan standing right there watching them.
"Oh my god!" Megan said stunned.
She felt like her world was crumbling beneath her feet. Megan never thought that something like this could happen. Yet here it was right infront of her.
The woman stands by his side smirking when she sees the look on Megan's face, "Hey dear. I'm Sofia. His business partner."
Megan didn't know what to do. She felt like her body couldn't even move.
Sofia turns to Roman, "Your girlfriend is so cute."
Megan backs away with tear filled eyes, "I am not his girlfriend. Not anymore!"
Roman noticed the way Sofia was trying to smirk right in front of his girl. Although this wasn't the first time he came across a woman who tried to push herself on him like that he didn't like that it was happening in front of Megan. He quickly broke out of the shock he was in and rushed over to her and pulled her into his arms.
"Megan, don't listen to her. I don't care for her. I can cut her off if it makes you feel better, alright?"
"You asshole! I saw you kissing her back! I'm not fucking stupid!"
Roman's eyes widened as he felt his heart sink. He knew what he did. She was right about what she said. He did kiss the woman back and now his girl was yelling at him in his office. He knew he fucked up but he tried to fix this the best way he knew how. All he could do was speak in a very sincere and apologetic tone.
"I swear, that was a moment of weakness. I was caught up in the heat of the moment and didn't realize what I was doing."
"I don't need this shit. I don't need you!"
His heart sank more as she spoke. It hurt him that his girl was hurting. He quickly realized what he just lost because of his stupid action.
"Please Megan...I swear I didn't think that kiss meant anything. It was a stupid mistake, I am so sorry I just want us to work through this."
She tries to move away but his hold on her is strong. "I don't ever want to see you again! I hate you!" Megan didn't want to cry infront of him and his mistress. She wasn't going to let her win.
As he felt her trying to pull away and he got a bit desperate. The idea of her being out of his life scared him to death. he knew he couldn't live without her. so he tried to hold her tighter but then he realized that he was just making matters worse.
"No, Please...Don't leave! I know what I did was wrong but I love you and I am willing to do anything to prove it, please!"
Megan starts laughing but its evident she was crying inside, "Your love fucking sucks! I can't deal with it anymore. First you almost kill my brother, then I get shot and now you cheat on me! What the fuck is wrong with you? I can't stay with you!"
He was in a complete state of shock. His heart dropped with every word she spoke. The pain in his heart was immense and he hated himself for causing all this. His brain was running a mile a minute as he started to panic. He was starting to realize that he might lose her for good as he spoke between short breaths.
"Wait, please I can change for you! Let me show you that I can change! Just don't leave me!"
"You will never change!"
His heart started to sink even more with every word she said. In that moment he felt his entire world shatter and come crashing down. He looked at her with desperate and pleading eyes as he spoke in between tears.
"Please, don't do this to me...Don't do this to us...I can't lose you! I love you too much for that...Just let me explain something."
"You did this! Not me!" Megan finally manages to get free from him and doesn't hesitate to run downstairs. She was not going to let this go. Megan was going to hurt him the way he hurt her but worse.
