Lux shrugged. "Whatever makes you happy."
Raquil placed a new set of chips on the table. Lux did the same. Neither player made a bet.
"Go ahead," Lux prompted.
Raquil turned over his cards. "Sevens, two tens."
"Good hand," Lux said.
Raquil shrugged. "Not too great, is it?"
"You could use some more luck."
"And why don't you try some yourself?"
Lux shrugged. "Why not?"
He flipped over three cards. They were all fives.
"Great!" Raquil exclaimed.
"You should've folded," Lux pointed out. "Instead, you bet a lot. You're lucky I didn't call your bluff."
"Well, I guess I deserved that."
"Yeah, you probably did," Lux said.
They continued playing the rest of the day without further incident. As the sun started to set, Raquil was starting to feel a bit nervous.
"We need to quit soon," he said nervously.
"I'll give it two hours. After that, we'll leave."
