"I don't understand," Mia said. "Where did I go?"
"To the land between life and death. That place where dreams and nightmares intersect."
"And how did you get here?" Mia asked.
"There is a way to return, Mia," the figure said. "You just have to believe in yourself. In your time. Believe in it, and we will meet again."
"Believe in it? What does that mean?"
"I cannot explain everything right now. But I want you to remember something. Remember who you truly are, Mia."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"If you choose to remain in darkness, then I shall leave you. If you wish to see the light again, you must seek it within yourself."
"But... why—"
"I do not know. Only you can decide if you want to continue living as it is. Or if you want to live as something greater."
The woman vanished.
