The next morning, Allen woke up early. He felt refreshed and energized. He walked outside and found that everything was dry again.
His mother came downstairs carrying her coffee cup. She looked pleased today, but she wasn't smiling.
"I see you slept well," she said.
"Yeah. Thanks Mom."
She smiled and sat down next to him. "Why are you so happy? Aren't you worried about the rain?"
"Nope! Rain is nice."
"You should be concerned. It rains every single night. We're going to get washed away if we don't find a way to stop the leak in the roof."
