Evelyn had been watching him closely throughout the entire meal. At first, she noticed that his eyes kept getting wider as she served him new dishes. As she continued to feed him, he seemed to become increasingly excited by the taste. Finally, she saw him lean forward intently. He looked as though he couldn't wait to swallow the last bite.
As he did so, his face twisted and turned bright red. His breathing became erratic, and he started to cough violently. He fell backward off the couch, clutching his throat.
"Oh my God! What's wrong with him?" She screamed.
She grabbed Jay's shoulders and shook him violently.
"Hey, hey! You've got to breathe. Breathe! Can you hear me? Open your mouth. Try to catch your breath. Do you feel better now?" She asked frantically.
"Hahahahahaha!!!"
He was laughing.
"I knew this would happen," he said hysterically.
Evelyn was confused.
"That was funny, wasn't it?" he asked.
