Life was not easy for either Mark or Jay after that night. Their training sessions became longer and harder. As a result, their sleep schedules started to suffer. For weeks, they had trouble sleeping, and they found themselves tired all the time.
After another week, their bodies adjusted to the new schedule. By now, they were both beginning to feel the strain of having no sleep. One day, Mark was walking down the hall when he saw a flyer posted on a bulletin board.
The flyer advertised an event called "Sleep-In Day.".
Everyone could stay awake all night on Sleep-in Day. Caught napping would result in a fine of twenty credits.
As Mark read the flyer, he felt his eyelids becoming heavy. He rubbed his eyes, hoping he could keep himself awake long enough to go find Scott. If he fell asleep, he knew he wouldn't be able to wake himself. He'd probably end up staying up all night.
