Jay got up early the next morning. He didn't want to miss breakfast. He needed to speak with Evelyn again, but first he had to train before washing up. He didn't want to get all rusty.
He went downstairs after breakfast. He discovered a note stuck to his room's door handle. It read, 'Sorry, I missed your call yesterday.'
'Did she already leave?' Jay thought to himself as he walked down the corridor towards the training room. He decided to ask Mark if Evelyn had left yet. He had been looking forward to seeing her again.
He figured he would train with his fighting skills. He had spent most of the day practicing yesterday. His body was starting to ache and feel sore. The best way to deal with that was to do some physical exercise.
When he reached the training room, he noticed several people already there. They were mostly new recruits who were just learning to fight. A couple of the instructors were also present.
