It was starting to get bigger and stronger as its body got harder. It was covering itself with a layer of armor.
"You guys better prepare yourselves."
The men began to fire at the monster. As bullets bounced off its body, it began glowing brighter. Some of the bullets hit it, causing sparks and flames to fly everywhere.
"Hurry up! Let's finish it off!" One officer yelled.
The officers resumed firing at the monster. It glowed brightly as it absorbed the energy. It continued absorbing the energy until it began to glow brighter. As it gained power and size, it grew larger and larger. The monster turned its head toward Lux.
"Aside from me, you seem like the strongest human here." It said as it swiped its hands at Lux.
Lux jumped backwards and avoided the attack.
"How are you evading my attacks? You should be dead already." It said as it raised its hand high.
