"Yeah, don't you know what is going on?"
"No..."
"They captured a monster and locked it away somewhere. Apparently, it escaped a few days ago and ran amok through town. They've already called in a strike team to try and contain it."
The man looked confused. "A...what?"
The bartender pointed to the television mounted above the counter. The news channel was showing video footage of a large creature running down the street. It covered most of its body with fur, except for the legs and feet. The beast's eyes glowed bright red, and it looked like a cross between a dog and a human being. It also had metallic hands.
"Is that really what that thing looks like?" the man asked.
"Oh yeah, that's definitely what that thing looks like," the bartender agreed. "Now that you mention it, it does look like some sort of dog-man hybrid. Isn't it scary? Now there is nothing left but rubble and bodies. It was so terrifying. I saw it myself."
"Really?"
