Kamen would do anything to get his mind off the underground ring defeats. He had lost twice: once willingly, and the second, he didn't even want to think about it.
Lux had defeated him, even after trying his best.

Days later, Kamen arrived at John's house.
"Are you ready?" John asked, walking toward the kitchen.
Kamen followed John through the kitchen, which was filled with food. There were bowls of fruit and vegetables, along with plates of meatballs in tomato sauce.
"Is this enough?" John asked, holding two bottles of champagne in front of him.
"It looks good," Kamen answered.
"Good enough for me!"
They walked down the hallway toward the garage. John unlocked the doors and pushed them open. Inside were several vehicles. Kamen looked over at John. "How many cars do you have?"
"3. But I guess I could buy more."
"You have three cars, but you can't buy a suit."
"It is what it is."
