If I could choose one word to describe how I feel right now it would be "flabbergasted"
I was so shocked I couldn't help myself from shouting "Eunho-ya?!"
Eunho(?) whipped his head around from staring outside with an expression that probably mirrored mine. By this point, everyone in the class started to stare between the two of us, probably confused on who the heck Kang Eunho is and why I called Song Junwoo(?) that.
Eunho abruptly got up from his seat and steadily walked toward me. Without a single word, he grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the classroom to the boys bathroom.
"Hyung is that you?" Eunho asked with a tearful expression, glancing above my head.
I put every fiber of my being into not crying in front of Eunho, and shakily replied
"Y-you can see it too huh?"
Eunho nodded like a puppy and started bawling "HYUNG!! I WAS SO SCARED!"
I chuckled and hugged Eunho "Don't worry, I'm here now. I'm just so glad to see you again."
We hugged it out for awhile until we heard one of the bathroom stall doors open.
"I didn't want to interrupt your guys' moment but I don't really wanna be late to class... Uhm.. bye." The person that had probably been waiting for us to leave for 5 minutes awkwardly bid his goodbyes and dashed out of the bathroom.
I was mortified but I realized that we were going to be late to class if we stayed any longer.
"Let's go Eunho-ya, we can discuss our situation after class" I said while gently smiling at him.
Eunho, still teary-eyed nodded and made a small sound of agreement before we headed to class.
Luckily, our teacher hadn't arrived yet so we were barely on time for class. However, the moment we stepped in I could feel the curious gazes of our classmates. "Ah that's gonna be awkward to explain isn't it"
I managed to survive the school day by making the excuse that we gave each other nicknames and hadn't seen each other in awhile. I was starting to wonder what kind of person Sunwoo was if people believed something like this.
"Eunho-ya let's go!" I enthusiastically grabbed his arm and we ran to the school entrance.
"Huff.. Huff. H-Hyung, why are we running?" Eunho was barely able to utter those words as he bent over to catch his breath.
"I don't know, I guess I'm just relieved that my worries were all for nothing"
Eunho just smiled in return, having a mutual understanding of my feelings. We walked side by side while we were finally able to talk about the system we suddenly obtained.
"Huh? What do you mean flashback?" Eunho said while tilting his head.
"Oh, I was just wondering if you got Song Junwoo's memories" I was just glad that Eunho didn't have to go through the terrible experience I did.
"We have the same attributes, I wonder if the system wants us to work together?" I said while checking my status window. However, I noticed a shining notification from the [MISSIONS] tab and pressed it.

Then realization struck "Oh my god, You're Sunwoo's friend! I finished the Mission to meet his friend!" I fist bumped the air and Eunho told me he had also completed the same mission.
"Let's go collect our rewards then" I cheekily smiled as I dragged him to the nearby playground.
Eunho and I sat down on the swings in slight embarrassment as a child judgingly stared at us while walking by. However, this would quickly fade away in the excitement of completing our first mission.
"Let's get our rewards in 3... 2.. 1!"
I shut my eyes tightly while pressing the claim button, silently hoping that I would not have to go through what happened on my first day. To my relief, no 'dream' of the sorts happened, instead however, I felt the same excruciating pain I had felt on the first day as a flash of memories were inserted into my mind.
I clutched my head tightly to stop myself from screaming so as to not alarm the people nearby while panting heavily.
I looked to my side and found Eunho trying to fight back tears. I stood up to give Eunho a tight hug to comfort him as my own tears slowly fell down my cheeks.
After a long moment of silence, me and Eunho shared the memories of the previous owners of our current bodies.
Junwoo had been orphaned from a very young age, his only memory of his parents being the pained smiles that looked at him as he was dragged away from a burning bus.
Despite losing his parents, Junwoo was still a bright kid. However, everything changed when he started getting bullied in his 1st year of Middle School when his classmates found out he was an orphan. Junwoo became silent and reserved, losing the once bright eyes he used to have. This continued until his 1st year of High School, when he met Sunwoo.
Sunwoo had been placed into the same orphanage as Junwoo shortly after the tragedy he suffered. They instantly clicked and became inseparable, Junwoo and Sunwoo were both each other's only support in their lives. Junwoo found a light of hope in his life again. However, Junwoo's bullying only worsened as the years went by, all while hiding it from his best friend.
Two more years passed and Junwoo was unable to stop the bullying, being told off as 'friendly banter' and being 'unable to take a joke'. It was then, right before Junwoo would start his 3rd year of High School that he would commit suicide, feeling trapped and like the world was against him, he could no longer endure the suffering he was going through.
Sunwoo's life wasn't always so terrible. During his childhood years, his family was like any other typical happy family. He was loved and adored by his parents and had an adorable younger sister.
However, one day, he came home to a wrecked house, his mother sitting in the living room in silence, staring blankly at a broken picture frame.
This was the day that his life started a downward spiral. At the age of 10, Sunwoo didn't know what had happened between his parents. After that day, he never saw his father's face again and his mother became a shell of her past self, the only thing she could do was drink continuously throughout the days.
By the age of 11, his mother had started to get violent. Sunwoo, at the young age he was, could only protect his mother's violence against his sister.
By age 13, Sunwoo had had gotten numb to the feeling of pain he received whenever he blocked the hits from his mother.
By 15, Sunwoo had found out the reason why his father left. He had cheated on his mother and gotten another woman pregnant, abandoning his wife and two children to care for a new family.
At age 16, Sunwoo lost the only hope in his life. His sister Yejun. Yejun who always stayed positive despite having very little memories of a happy family life. Yejun who would hum songs under her breath while studying. Yejun who would quietly dance at night to not wake up her brother. Yejun, the one person he should have protected.
The murder-suicide of Sunwoo's family was national news, Sunwoo suffered police investigations with no one to support him and the whole nation speaking of his family. He lived day by day replaying the moment his sister stopped moving without being able to do anything. That was until he met Junwoo.
Sunwoo became Junwoo's new roommate. Sunwoo could slowly break out of his shell thanks to having someone his age to talk to. Junwoo and Sunwoo were in different classes at school, so Sunwoo had no clue what Junwoo was going through.
When the day before his 3rd year of High School would begin, Sunwoo entered their room to find Junwoo lying on the bed, holding a bottle of sleeping pills and a letter next to him.
To Sunwoo,
I'm sorry. I'm sorry I couldn't man up and fight back against the bullies. I'm sorry that you have to see me like this. I'm sorry Sunwoo, that I didn't want you to know. Please forgive me for leaving first.
Goodbye, my only friend.
At his funeral, Sunwoo could only stare at the picture placed among the flowers. The silence in the room was deafening. He could only blame himself for not noticing the signs, he was unable to protect someone he cared for once again.
Two days later, Sunwoo rented a room with the little money he had. That was the day that I entered his body.
Once again, Eunho and I sat in silence after I finished Sunwoo's story. We stared at each other for a second before I said.
"Let's go home."
Once we reached the orphanage, thoughts started circling through my head. "How are we here if they both died?", "Why were we chosen to become idols?", "Why did no one question how we were still here?"
I shook my head as I now opened Sunwoo's phone. Past the lockscreen of him and Junwoo, the homescreen was a picture of him and Yejun. I bit my lip and pressed the photos app. I was greeted by a gallery of photos of himself and Sunwoo, with a couple of selfies scattered throughout. I looked at the pictures sadly but I knew I had to stay positive and picked out the best looking photo of him.
"I can finally fill out that audition form." I said as I placed the phone down on my chest, slowly closing my eyes. I was exhausted from everything that's happened today.
