Boa was supposed to guard first, he sat down on the log while the others were sleeping, on another thing Boa had found out that he could see in dark. the helmet gave him night vision, another good option with the fact that he didnt feel the helmetwhen he was sleeping was a plus too,Boa just started learning more about his helmet and its ridiculous uses.
the night sky was dazzling. as Boa was looking at the sky , a red arrow had appeared infront of his vision pointing at something far, when Boa looked at the direction he saw a pack of wolves. another usefull option that alerted the nearby enemies, honestly this had became a bit ridiculous. Boa wanted to grow stronger himself not completely by the helmet! as he was going to wake the others up, he decided not to. instead he would kill the wolves himself and take their eyes and fangs. he wanted to get stronger as soon as possible and he did nto want anyone to interfere
Boa lifted his sword and slowly approached the wolves, he firstly wanted to see the helmets capabilities , the wolves were something normal to him since he was an c rank.
Boa let the wolves charge at him, the monsters bited kim, claved him and even tackled him but to no suprise all of them bounced off
he lifted his sword and killed an wolf by slicing right in middle of its head
an wolf tried to tackle but hurt his head and fell into a state of confusion
an wolf tried to bite Boa but it broke few tooth
Boa swinged his sword sideways and struck the confused wolfs upper body
the wolf died of the deep cut
Boa turned around to swing again
two wolves escaped one struck in the head
in this matter fo seconds the fight was almost over, the frightened last two wolves understood that they were not in place to be able to defeat Boa as their attacks didnt worked, they were forced to flee
Boa used his sword tocarefully skin the dead wolves, he took their fangs and eyes and put them in his pouch, he didnt want to couse any chaos on the nature so he dag the ground and gave the wolves a funreal, and prayed to the god who gave him the helmet of arrogance.
he putted the wolf skins on his carriage at his luggage and the only thing left was the low magic crystals the wolves dropped. Boa putted the crystals to hic puch that he could maybe sell them later with the fangs and eyes and then he went to wake up the short haired girl since she was the next in line
"wake up"
Boa tapped her shoulder
"hey wake up."
Boa started to shake her
the short haired girl opened her eyes narrowly and smirked thinking Boa wanted something from her in an inapopraite way but her smirk turned into a frown when he informed that it was her turn to take on guard
alicia rubbed her eyes and got up she looked at the little boy with the helmet that went to sleep with his helmet on, she didntknow how could that boy sleep with an helmet on but she could not question it as the boy didnt want to reveal it. alicia respected peoples boundries
she picked up her sword and moved the log next to the boy and sat on it, she started to sharpen her sword as she kept on guard

the next day Boa got greeted by the smile of the girl when he woke up, ofcouse he pushed her again resulting her to complain, as they were picking up the beds the blood and the bups on the dirt became visible
the old tank slowly aproached the mess as Boa noticed it, he didnt want to cause misunderstandings so he aproached the tank and explained it as well as shown him the eyes and the fangs
"why didn't you wake us up?!"
"ı didnt need to wake you up."
"you could have gotten hurt!"
"but ı didn't."
the old tank sighed
"look here kid, don't assume you are strong, no man in your level would be able to take down a pack of wolves, you were just lucky!"
the tank was just worried about Boa and his actions, his words didn't mean no harm.
Boa shrugged him off and they hopped back on the carriage.
Boa stared to nothing as usual, exploring the possibilities of his helmet, the new thing he found out was that he could take notes mentally, he could draw out his toughts or write things as fast as he could think. Boa was an pretty artistic person, the drawings he created atleast gave him happiness momentarily
the party was talking about things that Boa had no bussines with, he could hear them clearly as his hearing was increased, but he listened them anyways. they were happy and energetic, especially the old tank that laughed a bit weird and loud, the short haired girl stared at Boa sometimes and her intent was clearly visible that made Boa a bit discomforted
the carriage didnt pass by any intruders , since it was open plains.
suddenly one of the wheels collapsed and scared the party and Boa by suck a sudden movement, they got out and fixed the wheel of the carriage, since it could happen often and the owners came with precaughtion the carriage had proper tools and an spare wheel.
the short haired girl tried to start a conversation about the wheel with Boa but got ignored as Boa was still exploring his helmets abilities. he found out a new option and it was an heat vision
he could see colors and the humans were marked with red and yellow colors, Boa had no idea what heat vision was as he discovered it accidentaly and didn't know how it worked, and there was nothing to inform that what was heat vision.

Alicia couldn't understand why the helmet boy was so rude, she didn't ask about what happened but enough was enough, atleast he could have an simple conversation he didn't need to completely push her! any time she tried to talk he ignored her!
alicia looked at her body thinking that maybe she was ugly, all this time everyone complicated about her looks and boys always looked at her pervertly, bu this one didn't even glance at her. this was unacceptable!
alicia frowned and asked her father
"father, what the hell is wrong with that boy? why does he always push me off!?"
"that boy is broken."
"what do you mean by that?"
jonshon shrugged
"well looks like he got his heart broken recently and probably couldn't get over with it. ı think he overreacted and closed himself completely"
alicia sighed
"what an weak mindset.."

Boa heard the little conversation about himself and got little offended, the man was true in a way but wrong in the numbers, so Boa didn't budge and only sighed, he took of his sword and started to sharpen it as the carriage continued to move.
