Eden flew across the night sky at high speed, his destination: a forest village on the outskirts of the Crimson duchy. Omnis scanned the area within a two-kilometer radius. It was a completely normal forest, but the village was nowhere to be found.
After surveying the landscape for about thirty minutes, he noticed something a kilometer away. There was a sort of translucent dome or rather a high-level illusion. Eden activated Omnis and then saw a scene that made him frown in shock. Through the illusion barrier stood the cultist who had infiltrated the adventurers' tower, the Flaming Emperor: Victor, and many of his acolytes. At his feet lay an exhausted Sacha, with multiple injuries.
Eden quickly drew his bow.
