The next morning, Eden and Sacha left the Vacruen inn to head to Charhelm, the border town between Luxem and Vacruen. To advance their investigation into the disappearance of Jarvis, the son of Viscount Hossam, they needed information. After half a day of travel, they finally arrived in Charhelm. Its tall grey stone walls bristled with watchtowers, where armored soldiers scanned the horizon, crossbows in hand. The massive wooden gates reinforced with metal and magical runes were constantly guarded, only opening to allow duly inspected merchant caravans to pass.
