Eden saw Alan's face pale visibly.
'What is this situation?' Eden thought as he observed Olivia's determined look.
"You mean you needed my help with something?" Eden tried to rephrase Olivia's words.
"No, I know what I said, and you understand what I mean."
Without waiting for Eden's response, she gently ran her thumb over his lips.
"It's you I want, Eden. Alan was just a bridge to get close to you," she murmured, her words hitting Alan like a cold shower, leaving him frozen.
"First of all, step back." Eden pushed her aside.
"I don't know if this is a bad joke or another method from the VIGINTI to harm my family, but I warn you, it's a bad one." Eden walked away, visibly annoyed, leaving Olivia and Alan behind.
Alan, his throat dry, finally managed to speak what was on his mind.
"I-I don't understand anything, Oli-via."
