She then messaged Sienna, affirming, "The rescue is underway."
Receiving the text, Sienna's smile brimmed with assurance as she turned to Brandon. "We've got backup," she assured.
Brandon, raising an intrigued eyebrow, responded, "Alright."
In the alleyway, Edward waited eagerly, his senses sharp as he scanned his surroundings. Fifteen minutes had passed since the designated time his comrades were supposed to rendezvous with him, and impatience gnawed at him.
"Are you certain he's left No.1 Lab?" Edward inquired of one of his followers, his frustration evident. "Even Eddie is here! That Brandon can't possibly be slower than Eddie, can he?"
