Chapter 62 - Overheard

"Ahem," Mr. Brown cleared his throat, his voice firm yet polite, "This is Mr. Vice Principal. Please step out of your car."

The window glided down slowly, revealing an elegant young woman. She was draped in an ensemble that exuded confidence and allure, a masterful blend of contemporary flair. Wavy, chestnut locks cascaded down her back as she removed her glasses with a graceful motion.

"Is there a problem, Mr. Vice Principal?" Sara Hoffman inquired politely, her bright smile accentuated by the bold shade of her red lips.

Mr. Brown was momentarily taken aback by the shimmering presence of this lady. As he studied her face, he found it difficult to recall her name, yet there was a nagging familiarity. One thing was certain, she was not a member of the campus staff, and therefore, had no reason to park here, especially since her car obstructed his path.

"Yes, your car," Mr. Brown said succinctly, motioning towards the narrow gap between their vehicles.
