"I don't understand, either," Sienna said dumbfoundedly, her expression fixed on the scene in front of her.
"I want to learn hacking from you," Sara pleaded with Amanda. "Can you teach me? I can transfer you money, however much you want, even more than I offered to BatMAN."
Amanda frowned. Didn't this girl say she wanted to pursue Allan? If Allan became her boyfriend, she should have easier access to hacking knowledge.
"But I'm not as good as Allan," Amanda said dully. "I designed the firewall, and he cracked it. He should be the better hacker."
Joe interjected, "But being good at something doesn't necessarily make you a good teacher. Knowing how to do it and teaching others how to do it are very different."
Sienna caught the subtext behind Joe's words—he was helping Allan out of a romantic predicament. Allan loved Amanda, and Amanda was unaware of this. If Sara intervened, Allan would have fewer opportunities to get closer to Amanda.
