"No, it's not," Amanda snapped back to reality, her voice tinged with determination as she struggled to regain her composure.
"Let me..." Allan began, but Amanda interrupted, locking eyes with him. "Help Edward," she pleaded, sensing Allan's reluctance.
"Allan," she said, her voice softening, "Please."
Reluctantly, Allan took a deep breath and approached Edward to check on him. But before he could reach him, Edward suddenly leaped to his feet, his fist swinging towards Allan's face in a blur of motion. Caught off guard, Allan stumbled backward, his legs tangling with Edward's as he fell to the ground. The punch aimed at him missed its mark, lost in the chaos of their collision.
With a heavy thud, Edward crashed to the ground, unconscious for real this time.
