Chapter 35 - Man In Mask

Upon hearing Sienna's words, Joe was momentarily dumbfounded. "You're kidding, right? I need to call the hospital!" he exclaimed.

Before Sienna could respond, Brandon struggled to his feet and grasped Joe's arms, his eyes bloodshot and his face drained of color. "Take me to Jason Marks—now!" he insisted.

Joe stared at Brandon in bewilderment, then glanced at Sienna, who nodded emphatically. "Listen to him," she urged.

Joe crouched down and hoisted Brandon onto his back, attempting to stand up but nearly buckling under the unexpected weight. What was causing this man to be so heavy? He didn't appear particularly muscular or overweight—where was the extra mass coming from?

Despite Joe's strenuous efforts, he couldn't manage to carry Brandon on his back, even though he had exerted all his strength. Sienna, noticing Joe's struggle, approached to offer assistance, but she too found Brandon inexplicably heavy, as if he were made of solid iron.
