"Jared" her voice echoed, causing a cold feeling in his spine.
"Wanda," he called out hoarsely. She was lying there on the hospital bed, looking at him as if she was real.
He took slow steps while walking towards her, afraid if he was quick she would fade and this entire imagination would end.
She smiled, her eyes beaming with joy. He finally reached her and crouched down.
He was reluctant but he finally held her hand in his and entwined his fingers with hers. "Wanda," he called out again, hoarsely.
"Jared breathe" she almost laughed, he looked like he had seen a ghost.
His eyes watered "Wanda" he said again, burying his face in her bosom.
Fay and Charlotte finally arrived,
"You'll squish her, she just had her baby" said Lyla, coming in with Silas and Dr Melendez.
Jared stopped hugging her and they both stayed there, crying their eyes out.
