Wanda wailed uncontrollably, her broken voice, raw with contempt and regret filled the room.
Charlotte and Fay exchanged their worried looks. They let her cry her eyes out, they stood up to talk.
"This is more complicated than I thought" said Fay, occasionally glancing at Wanda while she wept.
"Really?", Said Charlotte, "I thought you would know what to do, given your sugar coated tongue"
"This is a serious issue, Doctor Bay," Fay reminded her. "I want to know your honest opinion, what can we do to get them on the same page?"
"What do you think?" Charlotte asked her, "who is worth saving, the innocent baby or the broken woman whose past sins have come for her?"
Fay pondered on her question, she couldn't relate to Wanda and what she must have been going through. If Wanda had known her future would come down to this, would she have avoided her series of abortions?
