Fay, doctor Melendez and Morgan all stood behind to watch the outcome of the computed tomography scan on the computers.
First the image of the large intestine came to view before the image moved further and showed the appendix
The three of them peered into the screen, the axile computed tomography scan at the level of the caecum showed an enlarged thickened tubular structed arising from the caecum.
"We were right!" Said fay at the sight of the image
Morgan nodded in agreement, "it's enlarged and inflamed"
"Thankfully it's not ruptured yet, we need to operate on it and remove it before that happens"
Dr Melendez added
They both nodded
"And what happens if the infected appendix ruptures?" Asked doctor Melendez.
