Chapter 28 - hi aunt Fiona

After his passing, the atmosphere carried a dull kind of feeling. There was sadness, not sure if the feeling came because of his passing or because they let him pass without trying to stop it.

The stretcher came, followed by two extra nurses. The feeling in the air gave them the hint that they may have come a bit too late.

"We have to surgically remove the liver lest it dies" said Dr Melendez sadly.

With that, Sherman was taken by the stretcher to the OR. The liver was removed and John was prepped for the surgery.

They had to look on the bright side, Sherman finally found peace and John gets to live a healthy life. In a way if you look at it it's a win-win.

John's ward, after the successful surgery.....

"Oh John my baby" cried his mother as he opened his eyes. "You're finally awake".

John smiled wearily as he stared at his parents. Seeing their face full of gladness made him feel a lot better. But what about Mr Sherman....
