Yes, she left them in search of better and bigger lifestyle.
She went back to her parents home, after all compared to Lee's her family was better.
This event caused Joshua depression, he genuinely loved her and didn't think he would be able to live without her. It took him almost a year to get over her and rearrange his self. His profound love for her gradually turned to hatred and he was attempting to show that anger and hatred towards their daughter "Evie".
His parents dispersed the idea of making Mira stay at an orphanage home. That's right, his parents were the ones to rename her simply because they thought of their son and how the name Evie would always remind him of that treacherous woman.
Slowly, Mira began to warm up on him and he couldn't help but want to love her. She's the cutest especially the first time she called him dada, it was an emotional time for the Lee's.
Just like how they suddenly bankrupted, they sprung to the top earning the title wealthiest and most powerful family in serenade city; also one of the respected families.
What had happened was known around so 90% of the women in serenade city and beyond had a vivid dream of becoming the new Mrs Lee. Although, the downside of it all is that Joshua is now full-faced in his work and has no time to chase love whatsoever. The next plan would be to go through his daughter whom he loves so much.
Their car comes to a hault at the front of the gate to Mira's school — South dale grade school. One of the most expensive and quality schools in the state.
Dean moves ahead to open the door for little Mira
"Don't get into trouble in school okay?" Joshua says to Mira's smiling face.
"Don't worry, Mira's not a trouble maker". She was about to get down but them Joshua cleared his throat
"Ahem" she turned back to him and his was folding his hands across his chest and looking forward "are we forgetting something?" He asked.
Her eyes sparkled in delight and she hurriedly gave him a small kiss on the cheek before getting down; flustered. She waved him goodbye.
As she turned to walk towards the gate, her expression changed. Her eyes were now cold and devoid of any emotion, her aura was demeaning, her gaze was narrow. She looked like her stare could kill anyone who was bold enough to look her in the eye.
Her teacher, miss Sharona walks to meet her,
"Early as always I see" she remarked and waved at Joshua's car but her reply was the car moving away.
She looked at her teacher, shes a kind woman but her motives are rather impure.
Sadly, miss Sharona was among the many who wanted to climb the social ladder and become people of importance. Fortunately Mira could see through her act all the way.
They were lots of students who came before mira but she was here to receive her first. Despicable.
She squat in front of Mira with a dashing smile on her face.
"You're looking very gorgeous this morning like every other mornings. I'll take you to class" miss Sharona offers Mira her hand.
Mira looked at her, then at her hand but ignored it all and walked towards the building herself.
Miss Sharona stared at her back with her tightened fist, this brat doesn't even know what I'm doing for her, the audacity to walk out on me.
It's all for a good cause, she reassured herself. She walked on ahead and met with Mira.
Mira hated the special treatment, almost all the women in the school wants to leave a good impression on her but so far miss Sharona hasn't back down. Yet!.
She remembered the first time she got admitted here to this school. After a week, the behavior of some of the female teachers towards her changed.
They wanted to help her out with almost everything, be it walking or sitting or even breathing perhaps.
Mira taught it was all normal, being a novice as she once was.
A fateful day, the same miss Sharona handed her a small white paper and instructed her not to open it but pass it to her dad. She did so.
Right in front of her eyes her dad opened up the paper, crumpled it up and threw it in the nearest bin. She was confused.
She recalled her dad asking her what was on the paper, she said she didn't know and nothing came after that.
She decided to test something out. The next school day, her teacher asked her if she did what she instructed but Mira lied saying she lost the paper
Miss Sharona handed her another and gave the same instructions but this time when Mira got home she opened up the paper. Her teacher's name, title, phone number and a meeting place was stated on the paper
She knew she did nothing wrong for her teacher to ask to see her dad so she went to meet madam sela— the head chief maid and Mira's friend.
Madam Sela sadly opened up the truth to Mira although not expecting her to understand but little did she know she understood everything.
From that day onward, her attitude at school towards especially teachers changed, she no longer smiled at their fake good deeds and she kept to herself.
Whoever it was that was kind to her was only after her daddy's money and she won't accept that.
Back to the present....
Getting close to the classroom, Mira stopped walking
"What's wrong dear, I'll help you settle down in the class" miss Sharona requested. Mira shook her head.
"I can get to class on my own. I'm sure there are other students waiting for you to receive them, I can manage on my own".
With that Mira kept going forward leaving Sharona fuming.
If she wasn't the spawn of the Lee's I would've made this brats life a living hell. Ugh! Why won't she just co-operate.
