Hearing that Ash was willing to fulfil any of her wishes, the smile on Linda's face widened even further. If it weren't for her years of experience helping her stay calm, she might have already started laughing out loud in happiness.
"Well, since you're forcing the issue, then I actually do have a small request for you," Linda said casually with a giggle, "But can you able to do it? I have some doubts. What if you refuse shamelessly at the last moment? Wouldn't I become a joke?" She asked playfully as if she was teasing Ash.
Her strange behaviour left Ash slightly confused. He couldn't tell if she was serious or just playing with him. However, remembering he'd already opened his mouth and there was no turning back, he took a deep breath and spoke with a confident smile, hammering his fist on the dining table to appear more serious.
