Seeing that Ronald wasn't in the mood to talk, Ash offered an awkward smile and headed for the exit. Just as he grasped the doorknob, Ronald called out.
"Hey, kiddo, since you're on your way out, could you do your old boss a small favour? Toss this useless shield somewhere. It's just cluttering the place. Only God knows why I kept it around for so long! Sigh, maybe I am really getting old."
